Vilja hates my wife after combat in dungeons

My wife is travelling with Vilja after my endorsement but has a little problem. After almost every combat she has in a dungeon Vilja's drops anywhere from 10 to 80 points in disposition after they fight monsters. my wife is not hitting her in combat. The few times she has no change in disposition.

I have no such probelm. We have different PCs but pretty much the same mod configuration. She just has a few less.

My wife has decided Vilja is in love with me over on my PC so regards her as a rival.

As I understand, both of you are using the same rig but this only happens to her? If so, its seems both of you approach the combat in a different way and it would be interesting to determine what's so different as to cause such different behavior from Vilja.

I suppose one of your mods use a magical effect on Vilja that she consider hostile and originated from player. knowing what's the difference between your fighting and your wifes fighting could help to determine which effect is this.

As an example, should you and your wife have different approach on killing or not your foes (being her who kills them), I would check on 'Duke Patricks - Fresh Kills Now Alert The NPCs.esp' as MAYBE it put's a spell on near NPCs when one is killed. Not saying this is the case, but you should find that kind of things.

Either that, or your wife keeps all the good-looking outfits and only gives the ugly ones to Vilja...



I would also believe that Amgepo is correct in his assumptions. However, is your wife maybe playing a mage and using a lot of spells with area effect that might hit Vilja?

well....Vilja does keep bugging her for her outfits and she blows her off. she rarely idulges Vilja much except for a few strawberries and sweetrolls. I think they've been swimming once.

I do have way more time with Vlja , about 200 hours ( that's kind of scary) if that would make any differnce. We both started with three and upgraded to four.

No area effects that hit Vilja , I don't think. My wife says it only seems to happen in dungeons. I let fly with one arrow usually and then charge. While she does multiple shots.

Now she is ignoring Vilja's nags to go see Falanu about the green hair dye but the dips always seem to happen just after dungeon combat.

I talked to my wife and she has her on " only atttack enemies who attack us" sneaks up takes a shot or two with her bow and they both go into melee. I pretty much do the same only I just shoot once and charge so I don't leave Vilja fighting alone to long.

Is your wife using *any* of Duke Patrick's mods? If so, has she tried adding the Companion friendship ring?

It's an item that comes with some of Duke Patrick's mods which is included in order to be given to companions, in order to exclude them from certain scripted behaviours.

:lol: Vilja likes gifts and compliments. Once when I hit the wrong button she got upset because my answer wasn't a compliment. I use the Gift mod and make sure I give her a gift from time to time.

Emma, I cannot over-express my wonder and awe at how you have developed Vilja into a real person.
