Meanwhile, my other has been floating on air ever since she shot a 6 inch group at 1200 yards with the custom Win Mag 300 Sako Finnwolf replica she built with her newest version of a muzzle brake and her perfect hand load recipe. The lines drawn up between the sexes is getting blurry.

On the Road to Meridia's Temple

Before their Solstheim adventure, our heroes found a rather spectacular jewel, unlike any they'd ever seen before. As they gathered around to admire it, they were astounded by a terrifying sight and a commanding voice: The mighty Meridia! "A NEW HAND TOUCHETH THE BEACON. LISTEN. HEAR ME AND OBEY. CLEANSE THOU THE FOUL DARKNESS THAT HATH SEEPED INTO MY TEMPLE!"



"You know," said Rudi, "this might not be the best time. We're pretty booked up these days..."

"IF THOU WOULDST NOT DO MY BIDDING, I SHALL TURN THEE INTO A STOAT!"

"Wottsa stoat?" says Rudi. His compatriots suggest not asking stupid questions, but Rudi isn't listening.

"Well, it's like unto a weasel, but -- WHAT DIFFERENCE DOTH IT MAKE? WOULDST THOU BE A LESSER MAMMAL?"

"Um, where do you want us to go again?"

"MY TEMPLE. IT SITTETH JUST NORTHEAST OF DRAGONBRIDGE. THOU CANST NOT MISS IT. FAILST THOU NOT, OR IT'S STOATAGE FOR THE LOT OF YE! OR THEE!" Meridia vanishes.

Which is why our heroes cut short their little vacation and head north. They work their way through two sabercats, a cave bear, some wolves, a nest of bandits, and two dragons. The first one they encounter north of Whiterun. The arrow visible in the panorama below was fired by Yumi. That the arrow was captured mid-flight is just luck!



All our heroes fight in their own ways. Nono, who is standing in for Felicidade on this adventure, surprises everyone with her prowess!



They meet the second dragon in Rorikstead.  Fortunately, the town is not incinerated, nor do the guards hassle Rudi and Company for shooting off arrows and Dragonborn shouts within city limits.

Doing Meridia's Bidding...

...turns out to be fairly straightforward: Delve into the haunted temple, clear out the foul undead. Nami almost seems to be having a good time.



The tough part is dealing with the evil necromancer Malkoran. Fortunately, he seems unware of our heroes' approach.



In the end, the necromancer is dispatched, Rudi and Company are rewarded with a sweet sword, and nobody's turned into a stoat!

Wowww, look at that foliage in Aatrnasyn's shot up above! :drool: And that's pretty classic that you've captured the moments of Meridia's quest too, OldRPMDaddy. Is Rudi your character's name?

I'll post some recent pics, as well. A little background: I originally got the game for PS3 on 11/11/11, standing outside of GameStop with a bunch of others for midnight release. Loved Oblivion; had been playing that for 3 years. Eventually (2012) I got an Xbox, the game on PS3 was too buggy. Re purchased both Skyrim and Oblivion for the 360. Continued to play the heck out of both games! In 2013 I got my first PC (a home computer from Walmart) and then a friend told me about Micro Center. Updated to a full gaming PC in 2014. I'm addicted to gaming, folks. Proudly so!

So, I've pretty much done everything there is to do in the vanilla game, well, almost everything. So mostly what's left is pure roleplay stuff from my own imagination. Lately I've been gaming with a healer-type Altmer named Celeste Yael. Celeste's entire game consists of roaming Skyrim with other NPCs, the catch being these NPCs mostly lead the way. It's the classic DnD party, but my gal is the one who keeps the Warriors healed properly during and after battles.

A Scene They've Witnessed Too Many Times

"Hold up!" says Rudi. "Trouble up ahead!"



Our heroes stop and get out of sight. It's happening again.



Imperials and Stormcloaks going at it hammers and tongs. Rudi can't quite figure out what, exactly, they're fighting over when there are bigger fish to fry. The only thing Rudi and Company can do is wait, or go far, far around them.
