Mission in Whiterun and, and, and ...In Whiterun to unload some loot and to check out the matter of the Redguard woman the Alik'r warriors are looking for, Rudi spies someone in the Bannered Mare:
"Hey Nami," he says, "doesn't that young fellow over there look familiar? Have we see him before? Isn't he an In-Between like us?""Hmm, might be," Nami replies. "I'll have to talk to Poet about him. In any case, we don't have anywhere to put him, or anywhere to send him, either. At least not yet."
"That's what I've been saving some gold for," says Rudi. What does this mean? It means Old RPM needs to figure out that part of the plot, eventually. But other matters press. Like Felicidade's new armor. She told Rudi she wanted something more fitting the type of battlemage she was becoming. Rudi obliged her, and here she is:Nami looks less than impressed, doesn't she? One can almost hear her grumbling: "That little showoff! Ooh, wook at what Wudi made me! Isn't it fabuwous, hee-hee! Stay away from my man, you little mink!"
And, and, and ...

and, and, and ... Rudi Steps in It!With One Foot:
Arriving back home, Rudi finds Nami in a bit of a state. He's never seen her like this before. "What's wrong?" he asks.
Nami fumes quietly. Somewhere, deep in the recesses of Rudi's mind, he knows he's goofed, but he's not sure how. "Come on," he says, "I don't have a mind-reading spell!" With the Other Foot:
"That Felicidade looks really alluring in the armor you made her!" snarls Nami.
"What? Did you want new armor too? You should have asked!"
Nami walks away, then sits down and sulks. "I guess I'm stuck being the ugly girl with the messy hair," she says, barely loud enough for Rudi to hear. "I might as well face it. That's all I'll ever be!"
With Both Feet, Jumping Up and Down:
This was getting desperate! "Hey, Felicidade wanted new armor, and that's the kind she picked. That's it. I think you're over--" Nami fixes him with a freezing stare, then looks away again. Rudi hears her crying quietly.
"Aw, Nami! Felicidade's got nothing on you! Neither does Poet. Neither does Kirsikka. Neither does Nono! And as for your hair, I love the way it falls over your face! Do you have any idea how charming that is?"
Still looking away, Nami grins slightly. She has him right where she wants him!"Aw, Nami, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I wasn't thinking. I'm...I'm sorry!"
"Really?" Nami says. She stands up and faces him. "Maybe I shouldn't have been so mad. It's just that Felicidade's just, you know..."
"Not even," says Rudi. "Not even a little." Nami liked hearing that. Okay, so what brought this avalanche of corniness on? Some really fortunate idle animations, none of which I'd actually invoked myself: I'd never seen the one where Nami folds her arms. And sitting down on the floor and sulking? That was just perfect!

OldRPMDaddy Capturing those incidental moments is an art form. I've made .bat files to freeze the actors, TAI, and switch to flying camera, TFC, to try grabbing certain poses, postures, mien and expressions. I need to dial down the flying camera motions as precision is a beetch in default mode. Unfortunately .bat files execute randomly. Some get ignored in long commands and the priority of which executes first is just plain weird. The game runs or doesn't run them well outside normal game execution.

Sniffles: I've never even tried to execute a .bat file, and didn't even know one could. I've used pose packs before, but only a few of them have poses I really need, like someone sitting down and leaning forward, or laughing or crying, etc. I would like to find an easy way to change NPC expressions, since I'll need that when we resolve Yumi's missing friend (don't worry). I think there might be a mod that does that.

Sniffles : I've never even tried to execute a .bat file, and didn't even know one could. A few tricks for you, assuming you have the Console. Some toggled commands
1. Click on the subject, which loads it's ref number into the console. Then allow whatever is necessary for the NPC(s) to sandbox and do their animations. Park the PC if necessary. When the subject assumes the perfect pose open the console and enter TAI. They will freeze in that pose. 2. Flying camera tricks. Move the camera to third party. Type TFC and you get the flying camera.
3. With TFC consider using SUCSM, SetUFOCamSpeedMult. 10 is default, .1 up to 10 is slower, above 10 is faster. Use 30 to 100 to get scenery grabs, below 10 for indoors and careful movement, 10,000 to check on a distant city and crash the game when the buffer chokes up.
4. .bat files are fired from the console. I use them for SUCSM and a lot of other things like NPC refs. <ref #>, moveto player to keep track of NPCs you regularly have. Simply name the batch file the NPCs name. Batch files will reliably take two commands separated by a semicolon, a new line for each with Skyrim. More than two may not execute and even get stuck in a queue that gnarfles up scripts running.
For example: in the console, indoors close up screen grabs, I just type bat tfc . The bat file has TFC; sucsm 3 . I use reverse lettering to restore to normal. as in bat cft which sets the sucsm to 10
Quick trick for making batch files. Either run in windowed mode or swap focus to desktop, windowed is best. Then use notepad and stroll around in game, clicking on refs you want to make into batch files and make a list in notepad.
Use your imagination. Like in a home I have a custom batch file, bat unjunk. The code being, player.removeallitems <my container ref#> Now completely unloaded I can collect building, smithing or enchanting materials from their specific containers without the cluttered inventory.

Save your bat files with a ".txt" extension. If you save them in the data folder, you execute it in the console like: bat tfc If you save it in the skyrim root directory, I think you have to execute it as so: bat tfc.txt

Save your bat files with a ".txt" extension. If you save them in the data folder, you execute it in the console like: bat tfc If you save it in the skyrim root directory, I think you have to execute it as so: bat tfc.txt Right. Been doing it for so long I forgot that. Also, use PRID <object ref#> then in a new line each command. The semicolon is for Fallout4 in separating commands, which is a lot more robust with many more commands.
FO4, my tree planting efforts. bat T1 or T2 - about 20 choices of trees. So for example, moving around an area to be a new forest the bat file reads: Prid <ref #>; PLR (Pick Last Ref which sets that ID in the buffer which stays there until you change it. Then in the console I use getpos X, Y, or Z which tells me the grid coordinates. Then modpos X, Y or Z, getangle X, Y or Z, getscale, setscale, etc.
So you can turn a gigantic tree into a low lying bush or have a huge forest of Muttfruit or whatever. Modangle Z rotates the object so they don't all look alike.
Sanctuary. Some resized, .5 up to 3 or more, rotated, sunk deeper in the ground, and at various angles. Some have been moved and modded to catch the ambient lighting so the area isn't a dark pit.
In this playthrough and save this forest stretches throughout the Abernathy area and thinned out in places on down to Oberland and includes Sunshine co-op. About 8500 trees. Objects placed always have one particular side facing the PC POV. So changing the direction the PC is facing rotates it accordingly. modangle Z rotates it.
Always place a few trees growing out the side of your skyscrapers in the city. Or upside down depending on your recreational drug intake.
PT <ref #> PLR. Modpos X -60, setscale 2, setangle X -50. And of course, my .bat command for nice weather, Bat norain, fw 2b52a sets weather to clear and TFC for the screenshot from a good view..
And then, Squishy's horrific mess batch file which clones every recruitable female in the game, removes all items into the players' inventory, dresses them all in pink lacy underwear, creates level 5 bars and places them all behind them. Requires a very large completely level entirely empty area (which doesn't exist) or the game crashes. Bat kisssMyGrits . Copywrong, patent pending.

It helps a heck of a lot, a second monitor, that is. I have my gaming computer on one monitor and my auxiliary computer on another. Really makes a difference, makes learning stuff a lot faster!
Anyway, love to all the pictures. Too many to comment on (which is a good thing, this site is active).

After the <SNIP>storm at work, I was finally able to relax and get back to Skyrim. WARNING: Risque - off color The following is completely unplanned, unchoreographed, a series of quick screen grabs as Skyrim handed me, shoved in my face, it's own version of a <snip>storm.
Start game, decided to activate Rigmor finally.
Our large group camped in the wilderness. Vilja pitched her tent. Upon entering.... I could have sworn I gave you a skirt, or pants or even a thong or something!
ERF, better heed the warning and park some of my friends at our home before the next caper and a certain Solstheim lady goes ballistic.
(Minimizing potential Rigmor mod screw ups I chose only Vilja and Serana to accompany DitzGurl on this new adventure. Right after that, completely unexpected, Serana became quite a bit more friendly. Wanting to exhaust her dialogue I went along with things and WHAM. Whirlwind relationship. I parked everyone else at Lakeview and.... AW SNIT! I've moved all my smithing gear to our other house. I raid the enchanting mistakes wardrobe and dumped everything wearable on Serana. She selected what she wanted to wear. That vamp armor needs burying under a hog pen.)
We met up with Rose and Rigmor. Serana has just asked me to expand her horizons and I figured healing spells would be a safe adjunct to her murder and mayhem shopping list.
Damaged damsel in distress, meet ex Volkihar vampiress. No worries, she's reformed, sort of, but after a 1000 year abstinence... oh never mind.
Serana, "My new healing techniques!" WAIT! Isn't that Sofia's skirt??
Uhhh... Serana,........ Biting off asking her about potential necrophiliac tendencies... Maybe just letting her heal up a bit? You know, bed rest before bed test?
Returning from an errand, Serana had gone off by herself. OH. Sorry. Didn't mean to intrude.
Meanwhile, a certain partner of mine is developing a little bit of a high explosive attitude.
This is getting clompicated! An elk wanders through our camp up to me. (really happened)
Elk, "Yo, dingbat dalliance girl, we need to talk. Consider giving yourself a time out and a little breather."
Right. Good idea.

Rigmor start addendumb. Spoilers.
I've made custom saves (not enough) expecting Rigmor to have issues with multiple followers (as the author suggested to go solo, new game). Five saved game back ups Rose has been kidnapped, we have met with Rigmor and are to take the boat to Angi's camp. The boat deposited me at the lumber mill with no Rigmor, Vilja or Serana in sight. The friendly elk nosing around in the camp was a good solid clue all is not well with my game.
I'm determined to make followers with Rigmor work and if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.
Added addendum, I've never encountered Vilja with such a sour attitude before. Her quest line has parked, no further events, since we added Sindra to our group.
Oh crap. Sindra is parked in the house with five oddly dressed or not dressed lady friends and I just adopted a kid. I need the least qualified foster parent award of all Tamriel. Don't expect much in the way of screenshots of our home life. I'm totally burned out trying to make decent wardrobes that are also battle ready. My RL job is high pressure micromanaging. I play Skyrim to relax, not megafuss. Some weapons are simply what was found on dungeon crawls and smithed up a bit.

I suspect she learned Nifscope and others before she learned how to walk.
