I hope you enjoy Ceri's company! On a related note, I've been chatting with Emma, amgepo, JanusForbeare and DreamKingMods to see what we can do to have our respective companions interact a bit.

I really liked the odea of that feature in Vilja in Oblivion even though I pretty much used Vilja by herself. Fantasticly immersive if you've got more than one companion.

Hey Mujuro, that sounds like a great idea! On another note - I've installed Atvir, but haven't used him yet, so I don't know much about him. I do however use valfor and am about to start the Companions questline to get Aela. There is also this guy skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25968 who is also being actively worked on too. These are the only dynamic followers that I know of, but it would be utterly fantastic if they talked to each other. I use the Castle Orlok mod as a base for my followers, so it would be call to have them all in the great hall to chat with one another!

There will be quite a lot of interactivity and chatting between Vilja and vanilla followers already in the original release of her (we are now cleaning files, writing readmes and planning for a release around 31 October, give it 1-2 days back or forth), so having for instance Farkas, Lydia or Aela in tow can be quite a blast with unexpected surprises. I'm of course also looking forward to exploring how to make custom followers interact, as soon as the release of Vilja is a fact.

gedgehog Sorry for the late reply, I've been stuck dealing with that storm that hit the east coast of the US. It's always good to see new followers that aren't simply different-looking carbon copies of vanilla functionality. I've not had a chance to try Odvar out yet, but I'm hoping to once I get past the storm aftermath. @emma We're very much looking forward to meeting the new Vilja!

I like Ceri, but I do have a question. I made some of the Chowder, but she doesn't seem to recognize it (I don't have Hearthfire, so it's not that). Also, now if I get in a fist fight/brawl, they end up drawing weapons, and I kill the person instead of just beating them (SKSE, maybe?). Is there a particular place Ceri needs to be in the load order?

epimetheus There's a random element to when she'll accept it (see the Ceri official comment thread if you want to "force" it). Regarding the brawls, I have a FAQ entry that discusses it. If you have more questions about Ceri, please ask on her Nexus thread, as I'd prefer not to detract from Emma's focus for her forums.

Mujuro - are you ok now, you didn't get hit badly did you?
Not long now for Vilja, a matter of hours really!

gedgehog Thanks for asking! We were very lucky, and only lost power for a day, and with a handful of leaks from the flooding. I got some of the repairs done yesterday, and have some contractors scheduled to come by today and tomorrow to help with the stuff I couldn't do myself. I've been hearing on the news that some folks won't get power until next week, and so many have also lost their homes, so we're very fortunate.

Gedgehog - schedule for release during the weekend instead - I am away from home a few days because of illness in my family.
Mujuro - of course you can discuss Ceri here! It's not supposed to be a forum focused on my mods only.

mujuro Glad you mentioned how you were doing - I'm in NC, and we only got brushed by Sandy's edges. Bad enough, especially on the coast, but nowhere near what those farther up the seaboard got. Thanks also for the prompt response to my question, and the redirect to Nexus. I respect Emma too much to turn her space into a sandbox for someone else's work.
