@emma Thank you! I hope things get better with your family! epimetheus No worries, I'll try to answer questions as best I can. I hope you were able to escape some of the damage from Sandy; I've been reading that there are still some parts of NC without power. gedgehog It seems pretty rough and scary in coastal NJ and NYC; we've got some relatives up there and we're still waiting on word from them on how they're doing.

I really liked the odea of that feature in Vilja in Oblivion even though I pretty much used Vilja by herself. Fantastively immersive if you've got more than one companion. There will be quite a lot of interactivity and chatting between Vilja and vanilla followers already in the original release of her (we are now cleaning files, writing readmes and planning for a release around 31 October, give it 1-2 days back or forth), so having for instance Farkas, Lydia or Aela in tow can be quite a blast with unexpected surprises. I'm of course also looking forward to exploring how to make custom followers interact, as soon as the release of Vilja is a fact. At first, I was really suprised when Vilja started to chat with Lydia. First thought was, how an earth did you managed to make the soundfiles for Lydias long dialogs... It's really amazing!... at least for me as I have no idea how to do it without using the original voice actor. Have you planed to add more verbal interaction for followers (like Lydia) towards the player.

Oh, it was fun setting up interaction with the vanilla followers!
Apart from Lydia, you will also have similar interaction with Farkas, Aela, Argis and similar but less unique with Iona, Uthgerd, Ria, Stenvar, Benor, Athvar, Adelaisa, Illia and Annekke Crag-Jumper.
The reason why it is these particular ones is that I have so far only gone through the voice-files for three voice-types. It's a LOT of work, it took me approx 3 weeks for each voice-type. Once I had went through them, I simply figured out discussions that Vilja could have with these npcs based on the existing voice-files. And then it was a matter of cutting, merging, recording and making the scenes.
I'm hoping to do so with more voice-types, for instance the voice types for Mjoll, Erik the Slayer, Erandur, but it is lots of work so it will happen over time.

That sounds very interesting work indeed. I quess you are using some software like Audicity or something... I've been trying to find those voicefiles, as I myself have been doing some modding but haven't found them so far. Could you tell me where they are, please, Emma? You have done very impressing work.. Thanks

looking for suitable armor for Vilja and found Daedric Assassins Armor light or heavy you need good smithing skills but it is worth it I think she dosn't look huge and the boots have high heels first time I have seen that and following now is great as she has a great bottom movement
