COngratulations to the Skyrim Vilja Team. I just read the release notes on Skyrim Nexus. She looks fantastic and the lute looks awesome. Now I'm really jealous but excited for you at the same time

This is awesome! Downloading now and can't wait to play! I do have a question/suggestion/note. In my own game of Oblivion, I role-played that my character did not fully take over the role of Sheogorath until Vilja died; old age preferably (gone mad from grief). Is there any way for Skyrim-Vilja to comment about his Daedric Quest? Something about a story from G-G-Grandma? Thanks, I'm not trying to be pushy, just add to the role-playing experience.

Hail! After commenting on the Nexus site, I just wanted to take the time and again congratulate Emma, amgepo and the rest of the team for their stellar work on this mod! Although I have tried many companion mods, I was not a very sociable quester so far...too much of the followers were just about looks or bland packmules without a personality...but this has changed now! After only a few hours with Vilja, I now never want to travel alone again! She feels so alive and unique...I especially enjoy her off-hand commentaries on places and situations/quests...of course, she is chatty, but that's part of her charm, IMHO! I wouldn't want it any other way...and Emma's voicework really brings her character home for me...! Thanks again to Emma and her team for providing us with such a rare gem of quality-modding - the Skyrim experience has just been enriched for me, in a way none of the official addons ever could have done! Kudos to you all! Seeker

Emma ,Amgego and the rest of the team have done an incredible job bringing Vilja to life again in Skyrim. Once again she seems so alive and full of personality.
I was grinning like a 6 year old when Vilja and Lydia starting planning a dungeon exploration without me, for example. It actually gives me a reason to also have some of the vanilla followers along.

She is so much fun to have along. I hope this version is nicer to my wife than Cyrodil Vilja. . Her PC can't handle Skyrim so she'll have to wait anyway. My middle daughter on the other hand gets to play on mine and was laughing out loud at the computer earlier today.

I'd just like to thank the whole vilja-team for this great and quite entertaining mod. I liked to play the "story part" and now I just enjoy, how after a even a longer time of "known" comments, she brings some completely new comment which makes me laugh out loud! I really like the humour of you (the ones who actually wrote all the lines)! At least I now know who's responsible for all those guards who were adventurers before... Great Job!

This is the most enjoyable mod I have installed for skyrim and I am really impressed at the level of detail and sophistication you folks have built into it. I have never seen a mod that has affected my gameplay and enjoyment so much.
I can imagine the internal debates you must have had when designing in the aspects that could be interpreted as "irritating" (chatter, asking for things, insistence of leading) My initial response was "how odd they would build these things in" and then grew to appreciate them.
I also love the voice acting and accent. Perfect!
I can't wait to see what you guys do for the marriage version. I hope it is being worked on.

Thank you everyone for all these kind words I'm so happy to hear that Vilja is bringing new life to your Skyrim experience, and that she is a good companion to have around (I wouldn't want to insult her by calling her a "follower", because both she and I imagine that she is a little more than this...). I have had so much fun writing the dialog and trying to make her and the other npcs "come alive". Mala, it wasn't really any "internal debates" over her behaviour - Vilja is originally a companion for Oblivion, and when she - or rather her great-granddaughter - was ported over to Skyrim, she simply kept her old personality, which has always included chatter, requests and some nagging. I never tried to make her "perfect" - so many other companion authors are trying to do this - I always wanted her to be like a "real person" with personality flaws and everything. To me, she is like a little sister, sometimes annoying, that I wouldn't want to travel without. I'll shortly be working on the marriage upgrade, but as the next DLC will take place in Solstheim, I want to have a look at this first so that I don't break any Bethesda lore (I have of course already been in Solstheim, in the Morrowind expansion Bloodmoon, but Bethesda might have alltered things since then).

Speaking of Solstheim, will Lokken make a return, too? After 200 years, the castle could be altered a bit......
