Wondering why the Twins had set up a tent next to their stuga outside Solitude, Graykin in curiosity entered. The Twins immediately made it abundantly clear to him (much to his delight!), that where he was on that list, had now been reached!

"Eureka!" shouted Graykin which startled the Twins. The Younger Vilja who was standing the closest to him asked, "Is that color in your pan what I think it is?" catching some of his excitement! "Yes I just panned out some nice little clinkers here!" Graykin replied happily. "What... what was that you said?" asked the Elder Twin while tending the fire. "He struck gold!" the Younger Twin replied back! "Oh good! Now I can buy that cute dress we saw in Solitude!" she responded merrily! "Ah... well let me pan a little more first!" laughed Graykin, pleased that they had both found it exciting as well! Note: Gone for real for the rest of the Summer, panning, sluicing and dredging around the North west!

Returning back to camp, Graykin immediately knew that something was very wrong! Just the expressions on the Twins faces and the way they were glancing at Serana was enough! Hoping to quickly get to the bottom of this and start to resolve it, he motioned to Serana first. She sighed and began, "I hadn't realized they were making friends with all the little bunnies around here..." she looked at Graykin regretfully, "and I got hungry!". With a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach he realized that this was not going to be an easy fix. Rubbing his eyes, he sighed and began to speak!

Note: Gone for real for the rest of the Summer, panning, sluicing and dredging around the North west! :) So where were panning. I've visited a lot of ghost town and boom towns in the NW resently. This year I was at Old Orogrande and traveled the Mugruder Corridor (A old supply route for boom towns in the Elk City area. A previous year I spent some time at Florence, another Idaho gold towm. And a bunch of others over time. Also went to Browns Park this year, which was a hide out for Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid.

And a bunch of others over time. Also went to Browns Park this year, which was a hide out for Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. I read up on Florence! I was just outside Cave Junction, Oregon, closest town was called Holland (you can buy your supplies and grub in gold there!) I was on a claim of a friend called the Frenchtown Flats Bar. Started in 1852, claims were only 30 feet wide but average take was approx. 1/2 ounce per 5 gallon bucket of concentrate. Two square nail cabins, one burnt down, very rough and 4 wheel drive remote but interesting. Find two rare types of the PGM metals there also. I got a big hit on a detector and pulled up an old eight sided spike used to split boulders, but spent most of the time working a 5 inch dredge. The water was freezing and I had no wet suit. Had my own claim in Colusa county bordering Lake county for 5 years before I moved to Oregon. Mostly look for artifacts, and gemstones, (and agates) to facet and cab into jewelry now. Want to go to Spencer Idaho for the blue matrix opals! Been to Virgin Valley Nevada 3 times for opals, still working on some of them to this day.

Way cool
My favorite is Custer WA. Just the right amount of preservation. Well preserved, but not turned into a tourist trap. The year I did that their was a wildfire just up the road at 8 mile Creek. I camped just outside the quarantine area, very smoky. That was the first year I attempted the Mugruder Corridor, but the fires near Elk City were so bad I ended up re-routing further south. This year the only place I ran into serious smoke was in the White Mountains of Colorado. That is until I got home to Seattle where the smoke was so thick you couldn't see the sun most of the time.

We ran into a Blood Dragon on the outskirts of Whiterun! Jumping on the dragons head the Elder Twin drops her axe while trying to hang on! Yelling, "Help, help!" Her Sister yells back, "punch'em in the eye!" She does it, as her sister runs underneath the dragon while drawing her dagger! The Elder Vilja then stomps on the dragons eye, while her Twin opens the dragon from breast to belly! The dragon crashes down to earth as the Twins pause to recover. "Whew! That was tough!" says the Younger Twin to no one in particular. "Why are you looking at me like that?" the Younger Twins asks Graykin. "Didn't you believe that I could kill a dragon too?" "Humph!" mutters her Sister glaring!

"So... what do you think?" Graykin asked the Twins after revealing a plan for their next outing. "I don't know..." said the Elder Twin slowly, "a Vampire's castle... really?". "Yes!" replied Graykin confidently, I believe we can do this! Sneak in, find the artifact and get out in one piece!" he added with surety. "If you say so... " The Elder Vilja said, still not convinced. "What do you think?" Graykin turned to the Younger Twin, who had remained silent up to this time. "Holy Crap!" she responded, her eyes getting big as she gulped down some more mead! "Sometimes I think you're crazy!" she spoke with some vigor. "And this time?" Graykin asked gently smiling, knowing their behavior enough to realize that they were actually considering it. "This time we're sure of it!" they both answered, laughing together with him!

Pausing before opening the door to the ancient Nordic crypt, Graykin glanced at Ceri whom had just cleared her throat to speak. "Should we really be disturbing the dead?" she questioned with a note of uncertainty in her voice. "Unlike back home, they don't always seem to stay... Dead here!" At this, both the Twins with slightly worried expressions spoke up. "Are you sure this is such a good idea?" The Elder Twin said, as the younger one chipped in and added, "Why don't we just stay home, drink some wine in front of the fire and take it easy for once?!" Graykin realized to himself that he had been pushing the Company rather hard recently and nodded to them saying, "Good idea! Let's take a break after this and spend some time doing just that!" At which point everyone smiled in agreement!

Chocolate for the very first time! "Close your eyes and say ah!" Graykin said to the Twins with a twinkle in his eye. "I don't know if I like this!" replied the Elder Vilja while her younger sibling looked suspiciously at him. "Trust me you will" he responded unperturbed as they reluctantly complied. Quickly he placed a chocolate wafer in each of their mouths. "Happy Birthday to the both of you!" Smiling he stepped back to observe their reactions! The Younger Twin gasped with her eyes wide at the taste of the rich chocolate, as her sister closed her eyes licked her lips and simply murmured, "Ummm... !".
