I've posted on this site many times, and I think (or hope) that Emma and crew know that I am a huge fan of Vilja in Skyrim.
With that said, I am going to ask a question that may seem rather...umm,I don't know really..possibly insulting. It is not meant to be, but I feel I am missing out on some things with Vilja.
I don't want to drone on too long here, but I love Skyrim.Definitly my favorite all time single player game(wish I had known about the series prior too as well).
Mostly,I really enjoy the questing. It takes you around the world with sometimes, very interesting stories and actors. Some small or unexpected quests can sometimes lead to an entire unfolding of a sotryline outside the main quests where you see things and meet actors that you would otherwise never encounter.
Anyways thats what I love to do the most ingame.
This poses one problem with Vilja. As I do add some roleplay to my gamingm, it can take sometimes 1-2 days just in travel time(not including the actual quest)..and this is where my problem(my problem, not A problem) with Vilja comes in.The "lead the way" feature doesn't really work well with my playstyle.I have played with this mod ,since,I beleive the third day it was released and have had Vilja drag me around Skyrim.Often times it was a lot of fun and definitly added a lot to her as a companion.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
I still enjoy playing with Vilja even after I have done her entire quest several times on different characters.my problem lies in my refusal to let Villja lead the way.She generally wants to lead about every 48 hours or so and this is just too invasive for my particular playstyle. In refusing Vilja I lose around 14-16 points of disposition for each time I refuse.
On my current character I am married and wanted to see how Vilja would react with a very high disposition even if we are just freinds, but I can't get her disposition above around 105 or so.On another character I remeber having her (without really even trying, her disposition around 170 or soduring her questline-and eventually romance).Currently I cannot get Vilja's story to progress(not her quest, her back story)beyond throwing meatballs(is that the end?).
So basically,I wanted to know if there is a way to circumvent losing disposition or a way to artificially inflate her disposition so that I can become her best freind(maybe even divorcing..I dunno).
I know this is trite and silly, but I love exploring regular NPC's dialogue ingame,..how that can change with ingame relationship status.....so when I found Vilja...man I loved it because as I progressed I got to learn more indepth things about her.
It is only this one issue I cannot seem to overcome.
Anyways,if I am totally out of line just ignore me.I mean no offence ,nor am I suggesting anyone make any changes to the way Vilja operates. It just has been dificult with my particular playstyle getting her disposition high while just being frinds.
Still playing and enjoying Dragonbourne with Vilja, and as always thanks for all the hard work.
