I had a problem with Vilja which I thought you should know about... I loaded up the 1.4 update yesterday via NMM. But then Vilja was bold and her skin tones looked really bad at the joins as well. Her sub titles come up but she had no voice, all her menu items appear to be there though and she was where I left her... at home. In other words she was quite messed up. I decided the problem must be my end so re-installed her... Manually this time. I was in the Ragged Flagon, Riften when I saved last... somewhere by the way I never take Her... This time when I started the game though she just appeared at my side in all her glory... and I mean ALL her glory... stark naked Then went straight into a disapproving comment about the Thief's Guild... damn that's why I've never taken her there... it was my little secret place ;D But anyway she was back looking great again... Had to fiddle around with her inventory and settings to get her to wear her cloths again though. Anyway the point is there might be something wrong with the way NMM updates this mod. Don't really know how that works. So if any one else is getting a problem when installing through NMM I suggest just re-installing her manually. I'm also liking the improvements in her dialogue a lot so far... she seems to acknowledge a lot more about me and my standing in the world which is fantastic looking forward to finding out what else new she knows about the world around her. Great work Emma and all the team

I have a problem too. Her horse seems to have disappeared. Whenever I get on my horse my pther companions are fine but Vilja gets on an invisible horse and just glides about. Any ideas on how i can get Bruse visible again??

Thank you for the headsup, The Wanderer. yes, NMM is cursed when it comes to larger files like this. It runs out of memory and either doesn't complete its work or, well, I have started to suspect that there are other issues, too, but it would be wrong of me to spell them out when I don't know if it is NMM or not. The good way to download an install is of course to do so manually. It's just a few files, an esp, a bsa and a folder. To just drop these three files into your Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data-folder is not more difficult than using the NMM manager. Desperado, what you describe indicates that you are using the old bsa. You see, in the new version Bruse has new textures. So if Vilja rides an invisible horse... well, then you don't have the new textures which are included in the bsa. Just put the new bsa in the Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data-folder and everything should be fine.
