I'm currently playing with both Constance and Morganna as my companions, the first time I've run either mod - and love them both so far. I had both of them wanting me to go on their missions at the same time, so I had to bounce back and forth a bit - wasn't sure how they would react to that, but it wasn't a problem. Thank you for your great mods!
I believe in Constance's readme it says she's always the same level as the player; however, when I use the 'getlevel' command in the console, it still says she's Level 1, while I'm around level 12. Is this an accurate display of her level? If so, is there anything I can do so she keeps up in level with my character?

She'll never be at your actual level, but her skills will be leveled to match your level. The problem with NPCs is that you can't "level" them like you can your character. You can, however, increase their skills to match what they should have if they were created at a particular level. The problem with using getlevel is that setlevel won't take a variable, it has to be an actual number. In other words, she's your level and getlevel is lying.

Thanks for the explanation! I am more used to CM Partners, where you get a pop-up dialogue that tells you each time they have levelled. I never used 'getlevel' on them, so wasn't sure how that worked.

Getlevel would only work if setlevel was used in the leveling script. It isn't because there would have to be a conditional statement for each level (if player level = 1, set level 1. Else if player level = 2, set level 2, etc.). Since only the player's level matters for leveled lists and some dialog, most companion modders don't bother setting the companions' level.
