Hi there, I took a long break from playing Skyrim for about a year and recently came back to playing it again. I'm playing version 1.5b and have a few questions whether these options are no longer available. 1) Sometimes Vilja will ask if we can spend a quiet evening at home. Is there anything I am supposed to do in her dialog to grant her request ? 2) She mentions about getting a dog. I've completed her storyline and we've decided to stay together but I haven't come across any dogs to get for her. 3) I realize she isn't supposed to be a mage but is her basic healing spell the only one she knows ? I've given her a few basic spell tomes and not sure how to see if she can learn them. I have to say that I've never used a companion before because I found them very lackluster and dull. Vilja on the other hand is very vibrant and fun to have around. Thanks again Emma and team for the great mod. I can see why Vilja is the most endorsed companion

Do the donkey tail quest ( a tale of a donkey tail ) , on the end from the quest you can have leifer the dog and while you do the quest the lady you helped out the bottle ( with green hair ) , teach vilja to cast spells ,when she did it you can let vilja learn more other spells.

In Oblivion, one of the features that I REALLY miss!, was the ability to spend an evening at home, or dinner out, with Vilja. When you spent an evening at home she would ask you to provide ingredients to create a meal, while she would provide the drinks. Then, around 7 pm you would sit down and have a meal together. Sadly, in Skyrim the dialogue is still there but there are no actions taken that I have been able to find. It seems that Vilja misses the Oblivion evenings at home as well.

While this is true .Vilja does know when she is home and you can interact with her through "lets just talk for a while " and give her some drinks with dinner. She is also aware of what you are doing and were you are when at home. She dines at lunchtime and around 7-8.She will usually go and cook at a cooking pot or oven during these times. So you can basically do the same thing, just the dialogue isn't there(Vilja is aware if you are around during meals/or anytime really..and will act accordingly based on her disposition towards you). I am looking forward to some more romance during quiet evenings myself =P

I had one of those moments where it hit me how great this mod is. I had left Vilja relaxing in an inn while I went off to kill Grela the kind, the old hag who torments the orphans. Well, that of course started the Dark Brotherhood quest chain. Of course I didn't want Vilja to know what I was doing so I would have her relax somewhere when I had to go kill someone else. Anyways, a few days later I'm traveling with her when she wants to talk a little. To my astonishment she asked me why I joined the Dark Brotherhood. It was awesome seeing her facial expression and voice when she asked me to quit. I did tell her I regretted joining the brotherhood, as I did really feel bad about murdering the orc bard and the two homeless guys. So it worked out as I was at the stage to kill Cicero. I always stop the quest line after killing him because Veezera was my favorite in the brotherhood and it annoyed me how they killed him off. I just killed the stupid jester and quit the brotherhood. Astrid keeps her family, Veezera lives and Vilja is happy. Great mod Emma and team

For those of you who miss the Dine Out and Dine at home options from Oblivion:
Dining out will be incorporated in the next version. Because of how different Skyrim is iin some aspects, I spent a full week's modding on trying to implement it correctly, and now it works, with some nice surprises, too. You can only do this after you have talked to her about romance, but you can do it also if you stay only on friendly terms with her.

I can't wait to see it in action.

Wow, that sounds great Emma.
Another question, does Vilja ever get hungry like she gets thirsty ? I see her sometimes sitting and eating bread and she has said that she is hungry while we were travelling before. I usually try to give her an apple or sweetroll along with something to drink whenever my character needs to eat.
So I have put food in her inventory like apples, cheese, bread and some cooked meats. So will she ever eat those or is it just her script that she says she is tired and hungry. I wouldn't want her to starve or anything.
Thanks again.
