I am at the part where Vilja has disappeared after talking to the bard in Dawnstar. The marker shows in the are near Mzincleft, above ground. When I get near it, it switches to an indoor marker, on map, but still shows an outdoor one in the compass. When I run toward it it just stays ahead of me while the on map marker stays where I am, as an indoor marker. I don't doubt for a second that other mods are playing round with this, but figuring that our could be a nightmare as I have well over 150 mods active in Skyrim (over 200 in Oblivion where I first met Vilja, and never play without her since. And Viconia) I'm just wondering if I can just be told the spot to go to "Find out what happened to Vilja". That would basically ignore the moving marker and get the next stage going. (I want to kick that bastards ass that kidnapped her, and bury him this time, no more friendly duels)
Love Vilja, btw. She cracks me up, in Oblivion, and now. She and Viconia are awesome and I am ecstatic I can journey the Elder Scrolls with them again. If you really want me to post a mod list, I can snag it from BOSS, but really, over 150 mods, it would be a nightmare to look thru. My game is like that guy in the Monty Pytho sketch at the restaurant, the fat guy they feed to death. I just "shove it in" when it comes to mods, and until my game cries and dies, I just shove in more. :}

We don't know why it happened but it is cured after version 1.4.1.1. Please note that you must update from a savegame which is BEFORE you talked to Wilbert in the Windpeak Inn in Dawnstar about the disappearance of Vilja. This issue is obviously not connected with a mod but most probable with the game itself. Lycanthrops

Then I'm screwed. I don't make a bunch of save files, mostly just the auto and quicks. Guess if my last quick isn't early enough I have to start her over. Thx

No, you can sort this out without staring over. YOU can go to the BADDIES instead. Use the console command coc AAEMDummy2 be prepared to fight! One of them carry something you need to proceed the quest. Once you have that item, do a coc again, for instance: coc WhiterunBanneredMare or coc DawnstarWindpeakInn I should mention that Another player had to disable Viconia, as a forced greeting system she uses would interfere with scenes between Vilja and other followers; they would get "glued" to each other after the conversation. Now, this player had been using an earlier version of Viconia and it may be that the problem was stored from that version; hopefully you should be able to run the mods together without problem, but if there is an issue with Vilja and scenes with other followers, this is likely the reason. It *is* a good idea to make some backup-saves when you are playing through any questline . (Wolf, the issue was that from some Point in february, possibly related to the release of Dragonborn, Skyrim no longer teleports templated npcs to new locations. The change I had to do was to make the baddies unique actors, and then they would teleport again. So, I Think it was a change made in the Update.esm by Bethesda that caused this issue)
