Hello, I've recently downloaded the latest version for Vilja in Skyrim and totally loving it especially the autochange wardrobe system. But lately I think the wardrobe system in my game isn't functioning properly whenever I'm outside towns or tell Vilja to wear wilderness clothes, she doesn't wear them. Instead, she removes all her clothing even though I'm pretty sure I assigned some armor as her wilderness clothes. Am I missing some sort of command option for her wardrobe system? sorry for the noob question pls help.

As you commented you have added armor, maybe you didn't add clothings to that inventory. Another possibility is that you have set her to wear only light or only heavy armor and you added to the wilderness wardrobe the armor she is not meant to wear. In that case, you can add besides clothings, armors from both light and heavy type, or just ask her to equip the best armor (in the "let's talk about strategy", "about your armor" dialogue).

I have encountered a similar problem that started as soon as I started assigning clothes and armors to her wardrobes. She simply doesn't want to wear anything anymore. Occasionally she'll wear a hat when it's cold or a circlet. She does change into her armor when it's time to fight (I have her set to wear armor whenever I draw my weapon) but other than that she is running around naked all the time, no matter what I put into her wardrobes. Is there some way to 'reset' her wardrobe in case I broke it somehow? *edit - I removed all clothing and armor from her inv, saved, restarted Skyrim, and now under the default setting 'where whatever you like' she is wearing clothes again. I wonder if maybe she doesn't like stolen clothes?

I don't believe Vilja will wear any stolen clothes/armor.
One way around this is to take stolen artifacts and give them to Vilja to sell when she goes shopping( she can and will sell stolen goods without the need for speech perks or the thieves guild). send her off and she'll come back(or you meet her) with the coins. Then you have all the money you need to buy clothing. You could also use the console but I don't know the commands off-hand.
She will wear clothing that is taken off dead bodies even if you killed someone Vilja really like's and gave her those clothes =P..thats gruesome, I know, but her Ai doesn't go quite that far in depth to be able to track where everything came from and how you aquired it.

After a little experimentation, the issue seems to be she won't wear any clothing if any of the clothing in her inventory is stolen. I have to investigate further after I get back to the game.

Now, I have never played Skyrim ... however ... to me it seems logical and plausible that she would refuse to wear stolen clothing. I don't see this as a bug or a problem. On the other hand, it does seem odd that if there is a mix of stolen and non-stolen, she wears none of it.
