The wedding scene So after killing Haldvan and his brother I enter the temple and everyone is there (including Tindra-who I know had caused some glitches in the past). There is an arrow over Breihl's head and Vilja as well. When I speak to Vilja it is her normal drop down menu of options and when I talk to breihl there is only a category to ask about the eight divines. Is it like a normal wedding where as soon as you enter you lose control of you're character and the scene starts? Is there a way using the console to start this? I tried several times from previous saves and could nopt get the scene to begin. I did have a couple of glitches at dawnstar but worked them out. Everything went fine(though I did a forked save and went to the Temple the same day to see what would happen(im always so curious=P)..but I did not save this and promptly deleted the auto save returned to the previous save and reloaded the game. Am I missing something. PS. Everything is really amazing so far. I can't believe the amount of additional content there is (the family, the quests, wardrobe..the strawberry planters!)But I am kind of bummed cause I'm stuck right now I do currently have major quests in Riften. I am at the stage where you are going looking for Esbern in the ratways and I also completed the thieves guild quests but never returned to the guild after for reward .Could these thing be affecting the wedding in some way?

Good description. I have no idea why there is a quest marker over Briehl's head. He is no part of any quest. And he has no dialogue about the eight divines, only about the temple of Mara. That's what the UESP-Wiki knows about him: Maybe you should try to find out and deactivate the quest which creates the quest marker above Briehl's head. Then you should talk to Keerava in the Bee and Barb. She has a dialogue to start the wedding scene again. The scene starts with losing the player controls as soon as you enter the temple. Sindra will be playing the lute while you walk up the aisle and so on... .

ok ill try that. thank you for the prompt answer. It was really a bummer.
The dialogue Breihl has, is as you posted. He tell's me that he's but a lowly acolyte etc.etc.etc.
I also just tried again and noticed Tyndra standing next to Vilja inside the Temple.nIs she supposed to be seated or standing?. I thought maybe she was the ring bearer or a brides maid?
But I will try Kereeva

oh I know.
Kereeva's dead I think.
I think Vilja or another follower killed her. when you go to collect the debt for the thieves guild. Never thought it would pose a problem. EE Eek this may be hard. When collecting the debt Keerava lunges at you and you have to brawl her(and win). I don't remember why I didn't just start the brawl again with followers un-followed....
I can "create" a Keerava with the console but that may or may not work.
could there be a "work around"?
Anyways I'll keep at it and see if I can, using the console, get Keerava back and see what happens.

Which version of Vilja are you using? 2.0, 2.01, 2.02, 2.03?
Did you ever use ver 2.0 with the Tindra bug that sometimes made the wedding not start?
If you did this, you should upgrade to ver 2.03 and the *best* way is to revert to a save before you gave Vilja the weddingdress, i.e. best before you and "dad" arrived to Bee and Barb. When you give Vilja the wedding dress, all possible pre-existing oddities with Tindra should now be cured, and there should no longer be a risk that the wedding doesn't start because of her. It was odd and a tad bit alarming that she was standing up (unless you mix her up with Sindra, who should be standing up and play her lute).
Like Wolf, I have no idea what is up with Briehl, this is not part of the Vilja quest at any rate. I could possibly but unlikely be that he is forced into Another alias which makes him unable to equip the weddingscene alias. But that shouldn't matter, as his alias is optional.

I never used version 2.0 with the Tundra bug.
I just remember seeing it on Nexus and reading about it ( I always look at the patches to see what's changed).I started with version 2.02.
Tyndra (yes im positive-can get a screen shot for you if you like) is standing facing the entrance to the temple on Vilja right side ,sort of between the pew and the lecturn with Vilja right next to her.Everything seemed to go as planed .Vilja explained to me the wedding would be tomorrow and that I should stay put in the Bee and Barb.I used this as a good time to relax and have some drinks and a good night sleep (I use frostfall and R&D mods). At excactly 25 hours later I headed for the temple where I found dopey Hldvan and his bro outfront. He killed me several times until I was finally ready for him (I play on master/legendary settings and BOY is he tough!)Dispatched both changed into some appropriate clothing and entered the Temple.
I did find that the Breihl quest is part of the radiant thieves guild quest's given by either Vex or....meh I forget. It was a quest I'm sure I've had for a longtime now. It is merely stealing something from Breihl then I believe the guild sells it back to him as if they had located it some other way.As I said a random radiant quest.
Would it affect the wedding if Keerava is dead? She is not in my game as I explained above.

Keerava shouldn't matter. But it could be connected to Breihl, if the alias he get into with the thieves Guild quest prohibits him from equipping other aliases. Maybe you could complete his quest and see if this helps?

I managed to fix the problem though I did several things at the same time.
1. installed 2.03
2. completed the radiant thieves guild quest (involving Breihl)
3.turned in the main thieves guild quest.
4. then at that point I entered the B&B to meet with Vilja.
So I did get everything to go as normal. Was really cool. Syndra playing at the beginning..The dress was really well done. I felt like the dress was really special but not so opulent as it wouldn't convey a "traditional" nord wedding( like to be so expensive or garish it wouldn't fit). really well done!
Vilja asked me after the ceremony what I wanted to doo which is currently where I'm saved.Of curse I'll have to try both options via a forked save =P(don't want to miss anything).
Thank you for all you're help and responces!!

For the record the Theives guild is part of a larger background story for my current character. She has long since abandoned such endeavors but this was where everything started. It is a pretty cool quest line to do. Really in depth side quest with some interesting characters, though I wasn't crazy about a "forced path" required to complete the quest, though, there are several similar scenarios in game.
anyways thnx again.
