Hey, thanks! I was reformatting it myself, but this will definitely work. It gave me a chance to test and debug the scripts I've been writing to extract and reformat the old posts ready for reposting here. It's not exactly a trivial job, but it's a lot easier than copying and pasting the 200 posts manually (once I manage to get all the bugs out...). Loriel

A new area in the South - the Blackwood River lodge. Yes, the gorge really is that deep, and that narrow.

Update: Lots of stuff that doesn't make for good screen shots. I redid the coastal areas between the Sulfur river, and the Blackwood river. I also started adding statics, and it's starting to take shape. The Blackwood, in particular, is turning out nicely. I'm going to have to put in a quest that takes the player there. Otherwise, it's too easy to just fjord it on your way to Winter's Tide - and completely miss the lodge.

Update: I'm trying to recreate one of Meos' pieces for Oblivion - the stone wheel. Unfortunately, he's not keen on porting, so I'm trying to do it from scratch in blender - and the animation isn't going so well. I've requested help on GHF and the official forums, so hopefully some kind soul will help me animate this thing. It's looking pretty good, though.

Updates: I finally got the wheel going with Peachy Keen's help - though I still haven't gotten it scripted yet. I don't understand how to script an animated object with no kf.
Also, I've begun working on the Southern Coast near the Blackwood River. It's a forested area, and I'm trying to get the landmass just right. I have just about completed texturing and roads, and now I need to finish adding statics.
I'll try for screenshots soon, but I'm also in the process of migrating to Windows 7 64-bit. I do other things on this rig, and I really needed to have more than 3.2GB of RAM. So far, everything except MGE is working fine.

Do you mean like the occasional floating crate in Morrowind? (they sort of bob in the water, I think there are some in the Vivec sewers. I recall the script actually moved (rotated, in this case) them)

Not quite. I recreated a stone sharpening wheel by Meos for MW, and I wanted to be able to start and stop the animation. I know how to use the playgroups, but they aren't showing up in CS.

I remember when I first started on this project, and it was still called Stormguard - a tiny little island that would have fit entirely in the valley floor with room to spare. I'm still working on it in fits and spells. I'm off today for Veteran's Day (US), and while I've got other chores to work on, I'm hoping to get some time to finish the Southern Coast. Hey, if you are interested, I'm still trying to build a small team to help get the heavy lifting done. Let me know if you are interested - and if so, what kinds of work you do.

What would life be without challenges. The bridge is fouling up in MGE. The super structure is showing up as it should. The actual bridge, however; is not. Not sure why, but at least when you get close it reappears. Very odd. The second shot is one of my NPC's - apparently taking a bath. Oh, instead of standing in the shack waiting for customers! (she is so fired...) Otherwise, I'm still landscaping the Southern Coast.

I will be one of the first in line to download this even if it takes 24 hrs to download! Awesome! I found some bugs in the half-elves. Specifically the half-mer female is missing first-person hands. I also had to add half-mer men to fix the problem. As a result, I renamed the races Half-Men, and Half-Mer. (not the actual race ID - just the display name) Half-Men have body hair while Half-Mer do not. I also removed all of the voice dialog. I was noticing that everyone was really grumpy, despite my disposition, and I think I traced it back to the voice dialog. I will attempt to redo it again - but for now, I've taken it all out. You are welcome to try the "fixed" version if you like. it's a fairly minor change, and shouldn't invalidate your current game. Just replace the current ESP with the new one. The only outstanding bug is the vampire issue. For some reason, when you become a vampire, you also lose your head. I don't know why, I've tried everything I can think of. Hopefully I can get that fixed as well. www.4shared.com/file/Wo7IXScg/Half-Elves_v01d_b.html
