So I was on a quest to get her lute/flute. On the way I cleared a fort of bandits. Now Vilja kind of sticks to the corpse of one of the bandits...when I move the corpse Vilja runs after it like a dog. When I am somewhere else and teleporrt Vilja to my location she starts to run directly to that corpse. Any way to fix this?

Try to have a friendly fight with her and see if her behavior revert back to normal. I think she was trying to make a comment about it, she's sentimental like that

You are awesome, it worked Well now the problem is that she is actually following me xD She bugged out during the questline involving her overzealous boyfriend. Instead of being at the Brinehammer wreck and playing the damsel in distress she marrily kills wolves at my side.

umm glad you work that out , now onto a different problem, eh?
So in your quest progression, I guess you have already found her flute and lute, and also got a certain someone fully recovered from a certain container?
What does your journal entry say? Could you type these into the console and tell me the return values?
getstage AAEMCompViljaQuest1
Actually it would be great if you can elaborate on your current problem, I don't think I understand very well.

It say GetStage >> 122.0
Questlog says 'rescue Vilja from Brinehammer wreck' ..when this section of the quest began she was already bugged out, so wouldn't stay at the wreck. When I go there now - with her following me (at least I finally got that right) - there is nothing to do, no enmies no quest no nothing :[

Umm...I think you forgot to talk to Vilja after letting a certain someone bit your hand in Eldergleam sanctuary. Vilja should have mentioned (not proactively tho) something about receiving a letter and wanting to go somewhere else while you reunite a couple of ppl.
I would revert to an older save before you leave the Eldergleam sanctuary, as I think that would be the best fix although frustrating. I almost missed that talk myself too, dunno if there's some magical post hoc fix for this.

Ahh that would mean starting a new game since the old savefile was corrupted (I tossed it out). I think I'll try my luck with the debug NPC..Beata I think was her name and hope for the best >.<' Thanks anyway Dova

It has saved me countless headaches over the years with all of Beth's games. It may seem tedious and it can be, but if you have a few hundred hours into a game...it sucks if you have no way to revert to an earlier save before you had issues.

I endorse what Falion says here, and in addition I also make regular backups of the whole of the Skyrim folder.
