That's a very good report to have! I'll have to look into the construction set to see the reasons for this, but I think the best and easiest solution is to prohibit Jolie from her morning ride during that quest. While we are thinking about it. It is good to know that the game pulls that pacifist trick. Obviously intended to aid in quest incidents taking place without problems cropping up en route.

I think my character is well past that quest now. At Bravil, I managed to capture a screenshot of Bernand riding the pony this time, with Freddie following him. I also tried the kids and the collie at Skingrad. i would have like to get something with the shepherd and all the sheep together as well, but they tend to spread out as they walk and the shepherd was inclined to go ahead of the rest of them.

Hi, sorry I've been absent so much. Been having trouble keeping up with all the pokers I have in the fire.
Sniffles bandit is one of the non-respawning highwaymen, so once he is killed he won't be back. Like all of the highwaymen he will ignore all other NPCs until he is in combat mode (stand far enough up the hill from his spot at the turn towards Lord Drad's Estate and you'll see him ignore the courier and legion patrol as they go by, as well as any other travelers). He'll only be a danger to Joley riding if the player is close enough for the highwayman to enter combat mode from some other source than the player (e.g. mountain lions or ogres from down the hill following Joley on her ride and they attack him). Once the player gets close enough he'll run up and do his "Your money or your life" speech and then will only be interested in attacking the player.
I saw your post on the Nexus Leyawiin Lake House page Emma and I'll finish the last couple of details for the OCO v2 patch today (I have uncovered some problems with simply using Blockhead overrides to solve the problem). Once I have the last details worked out I'll report in the PM.

As promised some screenshots, but first I have to say that playing with this mod loaded makes such a big difference for me. With the vanilla game you walk into any city (especially the IC) and it's just like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day ... same guard at the same point in his patrol and you get a "You have my ear" on the way by. The NPCs are just there to fill up the city some, not add flavour or interest. Think about it, when was the last time you followed Ida Vlinorman or Betto Plotius or Ulrich Leland or City-Swimmer around (well OK ... Ulrich's "I don't know you" doesn't get old for me and City-Swimmer is fun to be around at meal time, but you get the point ... predictable dull and boring). When I see the kids I see stories unfolding. The girl who runs to her friend's house but then when they get to the playground her friend plays with someone else. You see a boy silently stalking the girl he has a crush on, or hoping to bug his sister. Then you turn around one day they're stalking you. You walk by a little girl and she asks "Will you play a game with me?" and if you stop and talk she actually plays a game with you (better than the guard not fumbling through your pockets looking for his ear ... that would be funny). So visiting Skingrad I see Uuras and Yann preparing for a day of sheep herding: and off they go as the day starts to look like rain: The rain arrives as Yann leads the ram and some ewes to the pasture: and up from the city gate runs Yannia: who then explains why she's late: The sun has returned by the time the day's grazing is done: and all return to the paddock: A tour through the city and Thurnemi is eager to show off: Not to be shown up by a boy Tamika's twins answer the challenge: (note ... that spin screams out for a video, pictures can't do it justice). Out performed by her sister all she can do is dance a jig welcoming back the sun: And the day ends with a mad rush for supper: Even Glarthir couldn't add that much interest to Skingrad.

Uhm... Striker, what has happened to the normal haircut of the Tamika twins? That's not how they are supposed to look! Have you replaced it in your game?? They also look strangely old and large, or is that just the hairstyle. Is this maybe caused by OCO2? Is there anyone else here who are also using OCO2? Don't you have any girls with braids either? EDIT: I still had the OCO2 esp on my harddrive and obviously it also replaces various hairstyles. well, guess I will have to cure this before the release.

As far as I can recall that's how they've always looked in my game. I just realized I haven't deleted the extra hairs from before, but that hair wasn't for them anyway was it?
Something I notice as I'm watching the messages from Wrye Bash flash by as it's building the bashed patch is something about assigning random something ... I'm going to say hairs but I could be wrong and it's eyes or something else. I'll try to catch exactly what it says the next time I rebuild my bashed patch.
No I haven't replaced any hair ... I'm a guy and hair is just stuff that keeps my head warm in the winter. As long as the hair looks at least a bit lore friendly I pay no attention to it.
- Edit - The WB message is just a generic thing near the end of building the patch (says Assigning random hair and eyes to NPCs missing them).

The Tamika twins have braided hair similar to Vilja's style in my game. I haven't included them in my recent screenshots because of my redguard skin bug. I don't have OCO2 (or any version of it) installed in my game. Here are the Tamika twins' hair as seen in my game at the moment (this is the shot I posted a while ago when illustrating my redguard skin bug. The skin shade in this pic is still wrong)

Here are four more shots of the other kids to add to those I posted under 'spoilers' on this and the previous page. As with the others I posted, they are reduced to 800 width (800x450), but they and the others are available larger if needed.

I'm so glad that we found this out before the release . Actually, I don't understand now how I was thinking - of course OCO2 was likely to change also the hairs, and I have even seen it in Jet's OCO2-version of Vilja, lovkullen.net/Emma/OB/ViljaHead_cr.jpgI have now renamed all the vanilla hairs for the children, so that they should show up also for those of you who are using OCO2. I think that is probably only you, Striker. If you have a minute, could you possibly check out the new esp? (where I have also renamed the highelf child race thanks to your headsup). The braided girls are now supposed to have the hairstyle in Seyheb's screenshots.

I've also loaded up the new esp and taken a quick run around the urban areas, but as might be expected, all the hairs I saw looked unchanged in my game. Also, here are yet two more screenshots that I grabbed while doing so, to add to the potential choice. Between us all hopefully there are plenty to choose from!
