Can anyone throw a light on why known good mods won't activate in NMM? Such as UNP Clothing Merchants, Essential Followers UNP Replacer Configuration Package.?
I've tried manual install and download via NMM. Loot shows no problems, FNIS is all clear.
Just replaced the Card with a Nvidia GTX 970.

Can you check that the esm's are activated? My error. UNP merchants I hadn't installed part 2 but even then had to install esp and esm manually. Update Installed everything manually, double checked, still wont activate, plugins says Haalfingaar hall esp is deactivated? Going to unistall everything inc NMM, all mods and re do it all I'm really puzzled why perfectly good (that I've used before) mods are doing this! Just installed Pretty Combat animations got same result.

Well, theres a curious thing. NMM doesn't find the Part 1 nor Part 2, by Download manager but downloads manually? Still doesn't activate tho' even being the only mod on NMM. Just tried Asharii Full Hair d/ld but wont activate. Any ideas? please!

This is the message I get: Firefox can't find the file at nxm://Skyrim/mods/24684/files/1000139374. Any ideas? please!

I put that address into my browser and MO tried to download but I wasn't getting any data. I use Mod Organizer so can only be somewhat, if not really, useful in your problem solving.

SO IT'S NOT JUST MY MACHINE OR MODS? if you got the same result. I shall have to learn how to use MO I think. It isn't jst that mod it's several.

The NMM is a relatively recent effort by the Nexus website to provide a one step install system for mods. Unfortunately, I haven't read about too many folks actually liking it.
With SMO, you can adjust load order, activate...etc...what seems to be failing using NMM.

EDIT: Probably a link syntax problem.

Sniffles, please do not write about your problems with someone else's post. It's not helpful.

When you try to use NMM to download mods, are you just clicking the "Download with NMM" button on the top of the page, or are you clicking the "Download with NMM" button underneath the actual mod on the download files page?
A lot of people get into problems doing it the first way as it'll only download the correct file if there's only ONE file available, more than one file and NMM gets confused and can end up downloading a patch or an optional file instead.
Personally I would always go into the download files page and manually download the files, that way you'll never need to re-download if you uninstall for whatever reason, then you just hit the big green + at the top left of NMM and add the file to install.

From the Download page. always have gone to file page. I have manually installed many mods but these would not activate however I installed them. MO found the same ones immediately. I have alwys used NMM, never had this occur before.
