Yes, I am finding SSE very stable. I have been playing it more because I am putting off debugging some resent instability I developed in OR. I am also able to run more of the heavy hitter without FPS loss or stutter. I have SFO, Verdant, ELFX, Vivid Weather, Water, Realist Aspens, Noble Skyrim, and Frostfire on ultra setting without any problem.
As to UI, I am now using Categorized Favorites and QD inventory which works out pretty well. Not as nice as SKY UI but reasonable.
ELFX came out yesterday which I really like. Sofie is boring. I'm spoiled I am use to Inigo and Vilja chatting at each other.

I have SFO but ELE and Old school ENBi with Brighter torches and toggle-able candlelit. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4475/?www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1552/?the combination is creating weird over brite reflections in dungeons especially on spider webs. Not sure if I can modify setting to fix or if I will try a new set up like yours. Better decide before I get attached to this PC as changing will require a new start. p.s. added vivid weathers and like that and turned off the brighter torches till there is an adjustable update.

Apparently you can use ELFX and ELE at the same time. But not the EFLX enhanced patch (which is half the reason use ELFX). You have to load ELE last. Read the install, config, and load order carefully. I tried it and didn't like how red it made things. I also like the shadows that ELFX gives you. Also the number of reconficts I saw in xEdit spooked me. The authors of both ELE and ELFX say that this setup is fine. I did some patching for my ELFX to improve it with Another Life and Water and I think some small patching for Inigo. Just tweaking nothing vital.
I may look at trying an ENB this weekend, don't know though.

This first pic is before adding vivid weather, you can see the blurred, foggy background detail. While this is not the same spot I really like the quality and sharpness of the total picture. A bit more "fantasy" in nature but an excellent base to see what graphic mods will be coming. Hope Natural ENB is avsilable at some point.

Started new PC and wow Skyrim is gorgeous! Everything is icing on the cake now. Gatta run and get a weird Kahjit out of jail. Oh and seems Jessica alba is hanging in Solitude. Oh soo much fun! I have found that changes really work when you start a new PC, not buggy per say but all effects don't seem to take full effect on one your adding too.

Is Jessica more than a stand alone follower? I am pretty desperate to find a third "interesting" follower. Currently I have Inigo, Sofia, and Lilly. Lilly is just a vanilla follower with a custom voice. Eye candy with an over powered sword.

Sadly Lovely Jessica Redux is a basic vanilla follower. I was just shocked at how much she actually looks like Jessica Alba. Most of the "look alike" followers I've seen in the past were of the "your kidding, right?" type. I have the "Dark Angle" DVD set of the 1st season so it could be said I'm a fan. I'm a sucker for good sci-fi and I really enjoyed the story. I have Inigo and Sofia as go to followers as well as Narida and Yashira. Yashira is custom voiced and might have some interesting development to her interactions to the PC. I'm looking forward to a possible porting of Celestine, as there seem to be no healer followers yet but she is dependent on SKSE and HDT for bounce. I doubt there will be anything for Cerwiden if her author is no longer active. Anything good would be going through the same rigorous testing that our dear Vilja is experiencing right now.

I was looking at Ambriel but the posts both SSE and MO are not encouraging. I'm not willing to risk my build on her. Author deserves a A+ or effort if not execution. I will take a look at Yashira. That's right she requires XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - XPMSSE which I don't use.

I thought Ambriel looked interesting till I got to the posts and thought, oh that's bad in a heavily modded world. I'm lite in Se with 89 active mods compared to 250 in OldRim. Admittedly Se removes the need for a bunch of those mods. Yeah no DYNDOLOD and lots of mesh/textures and lighting. Of course in Oldrim I went for as much realism as I could find but 99% of those mods and companions rely on SKSE and physics. I've used XPMS for several years now so everything I use is UNP based.

My turn for a dumb question, what would XPM give me. I am pretty much UNP slender based. But not that interested in bounce and jiggle. I am running a little lighter than you I think about 60 SSE and 126 OR.

Basically a skeleton is required to allow modders to create animations. The better the skeleton model the more realistic the animations are. XPMS and XPMSE are two versions of the same thing but Extended has more complexity, the amount of parts. Imagine a stick figure compared to a real skeleton, the stick figure is extremely limited in movement. Dual sheath Redux is a prime example of this. A lot of mods are based on you having a specific skeleton to run properly. PCEA is a prime example as is realistic Animation project. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71055/?www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77343/?Using XPMSE is determined by what you want your game to look like and what body/armor you want to incorporate. For SE animations are limited so far. Here are some I have so far for SE. Most have a video to showcase what they look like. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4254/?www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3768/?

Oh my bad, it also will allow armors for a body type (CBBE, UNP) to fit better or are sculpted to that skeleton, allowing better fit, less clipping. Ok that was redundent way to say , fit better. lol

Thanks for the explanation,
Next time I need a adventure I will try it. Thanksgiving is leaving me feeling stupid. I did two dumb things already without consequence and don't feel like pushing my luck.
1. Reorganized my and patched my OR load order. Half way through realized I hadn't backed up the old load order. 2.Spent hours trying to fix a bugged out quest only to find out I had the quest item I needed to give to a person packed on my horse the whole time.

So I received good news last night. I asked techprince if he was planning a SE update of our fav healer Celestine www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40915/?. I was not expecting a quick answer but he responded right away that he is waiting for SKSE to be released. YEAH there is that to look forward to. There are no healer companions at all on Nexus SE yet. It sux to die so much because all your healing help is gone. Smart cast is a HUGE loss. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43123/? but is totally based on SKSE and SkyUI.
