Heading Back to RiftenWith a stop to install Ele in a new home. Apparently, Poet has been taking some axe lessons. But in the Haemar's Shame vampire nest, you need more than axe skills. Fortunately, Felicidade's there to lend a hand, and the vampire learns a shocking lesson!

Good and bad pictures. Why?
Busy, uninspiring
Scenic with image
Busy boring background
Selfie with green stuff
Lighting vs contrast issues
Lighting
Lighting
Selfie with busy irritating background. Bad lighting
What am I looking at? For?
Upon seeing the hole in the foreground that's all you see. Eyes drawn to it.
Nothing to see here
A common mistake. Leaving the viewer floating in the air.

Preparing for Movement, and a Little More Drama...Ele, Itzuki, and Perrine are safely ensconced in Blackthorn, a tiny village being rebuilt between Ivarstead and Riften. All that remains is to escort them to the Cyrodiil border, which are heroes will do once they get around to it.
But there's vampire business to tend to. At their camp outside Fort Dawnguard, Rudi and Serana plan out their next move. Nearby, the green-eyed monster once again afflicts Nami. "Eyes to yourself, Fang-Girl," she seethes. The rest of the women pick up on her muttering. "Again with the jealousy?" thinks Kirsikka. "Nami needs to be careful she doesn't scare Rudi off," thinks Poet. "Oh, such drama!" sighs Felicidade. Regarding Poet's somewhat-less-modest outfit: That might be partly due to Kirsikka. Remember how she had nicknames for Rudi and Yumi? She has nicknames for everybody else as well. And when Poet found out what hers was, she stalked out to the forge and began hammering. "Schoolmarm? Schoolmarm? Well, we'll see about that!"

"Buildable town in the Rift" wow, that must be fun. "Fang Girl!" Sniffles: Interesting little tutorial there. Personally, with screenshots, it's mostly about subject matter and where it is (centered, left, right, behind other objects, etc.) in the image. But otherwise I have no idea what I'm doing! I just move the camera around in tfc-mode until it feels or looks 'right'. I can kinda see what you're talking about though, now that you've captioned a few pics with descriptions..

Skulking through the Castle Volkihar UndercroftLooking for the disused courtyard, which should, theoretically, allow entry to the castle itself, which should, theoretically, facilitate finding Mama Vampire.
Nobody's gettting past Poet! What, a renegade vampire? In a vampire castle? Let 'im 'ave it!The disused courtyard is located, but the way into the castle is hidden beneath a moondial. "It's another damned puzzle," says Rudi.
"It's another damned puzzle," say our heroes. "Could be a while. Anybody got a deck of cards?"

OldRPMDaddy Excellent shots. Especially the archer. It captures the drama perfectly. According to the books I'm reading, the miss is not including the subjects feet. This is debated but what you have is three out of four ideal framing, top and sides, which contrasts with the bottom. I see what the book means but would really need to see a side by side comparison of feet included to determine which is more pleasing to the eye.
PS I'm glad I'm not the only one with motley composites of clothing and armor.
PPS I discovered Serana can infect the PC with vampirism accidentally. Just being near her when she fires that off can do it. Something in the settings of the PC.

Sniffles: Glad you liked 'em. I see what you mean about the feet, though. I try to make all my shots a standard height, and feet often fall victim to cropping shots down to size. My thinking was it was better to crop than to resize the shot and lose detail. Lately I've been shooting from a little more distance; whether it will help much I don't know. Something to think about, anyway.
Regarding Serana and vampirism: I have the PC carry lots of Cure Disease potions.

Something to think about, anyway. Regarding Serana and vampirism: I have the PC carry lots of Cure Disease potions. Looking at professional model pictures they have mid chest, waist, and just above the knees cut off points. Below the knees it's full feet and the ground beneath. Always full head and framing above and to the sides equidistant.
Serana vamp glitch. It's weird. I suddenly get the notice blood boils in the sun. But cure disease had no effect, the full on vamp condition is listed BUT using the console it returns not having the condition and using the code to remove it doesn't work. Only fix is reload a save game. This has happened only minutes after I checked the PC and she had no disease.
As a test, we came out of Blackreach on an elevator and went down to a fort, 3 minutes walk. Attacked the fort, and the blood boils notice came up. Reloaded coming off elevator save and it happened four more times. Avoided the fort and went off in another direction and no disease. Getting in the fight triggered it.

Yah, that archer looks badass! Looks fun running around with that group.
That's weird about Serana. I did Dawnguard long ago on Xbox, I don't remember my paladin guy getting accidentally affected. But maybe he did get affected; there is some sort of trace memory of something there. This was 10 or 11 years ago, so it's possible!

Something tells me that once the Dawnguard stuff is completed, it might be a good idea to turn Serana loose. My group's big enough anyway.
