It is good to hear this more-than-a-year-old rumor finally confirmed. Bandwich prevents me from seeing the video. Maybe eventually someone will pop it on youtube and then I can overnight it. Anyway, I find myself more than a little excited about this, since I like snowy landscapes. Probably won't run on my machine, though. Then again ... Bethesda released Oblivion in 2006 and it taxed the hardware of the day. It was a hog. Still is. They released Fallout 3 in 2009 or 2008 and it runs better and faster and at a higher res on the same hardware! This reversed the usual trend of newer games being more demanding on the hardware than older games. Though it is unrealistic to hope for this trend to continue, it would be nice. If Bethesda were to use the Fallout 3 engine as-is (well, the pip boy interface would have to be replaced with something more, umm, TES-like) to make TES5, it would be an amazing game.

(click to see full-sized pictures) My character's statue in bruma: In Shivering isles with Vilja. The guards didn't seem to mind her sitting in Sheogorath's chair ...

Updates: I finally got the wheel going with Peachy Keen's help - though I still haven't gotten it scripted yet. I don't understand how to script an animated object with no kf. Do you mean like the occasional floating crate in Morrowind? (they sort of bob in the water, I think there are some in the Vivec sewers. I recall the script actually moved (rotated, in this case) them)

This is a particularly nice one; something about the contrast of her black ensemble against the light landscape. And I like the snow.

Ahem...I seem to have recurring preferences in relation to facial features or types of class...can't do anythign against it, methinks... ;D Same thing with my game characters.

At a low level your character is slow ... and weak, and short on Magicka. It's normal. Run as often as you can and then on level up, assign some of your points to speed. For a first play-through, you might want to consider running unmodded, or with only the basic/subtle mods (like that patch you mentioned and the better bodies). Playing unmodded will later allow you to better realize what mods you actually want for your style of play. Oh, and I see you have wrye bash. That's essential. Sorts out mod conflicts and even you don't have mods it's a good thing becuase it can be used to fix corrupted character saves. p.s. Oh: and never ever ever ever use quicksave and quickload. To quote from Ghostbusters, "that would be bad."

one question: using quicksave? Bad idea, if so. Causes all sorts of unexpected problems. Aside from that, I have no ideas.

By "companion friendly", do you mean with path grids and well-placed door markers, or something more? Hmm, I guess beds with ownership set correctly would be important as well.
