By the way, does anyone else use the shortcut from Whiterun to Ivarstead? Never knew there was one. Thanks. Just found it.

Well, Epimetheus was the first and absolutely correct about it. It's in Lake Ilinalta, at the shore where you exit Bleakfall Barrow. You jump down the rocks, run to the lake, dive into the dungeon and get eaten by slaughterfishes. So it's his turn now, I guess. And Wotan had even an official name for it: Something like The Drunken Sparrow in Lake Illinois (or did I read this wrong? )
...although I'm also curious about Sniffles other juicy ones. This one was great.

Hmmm..., I don't think so. Now which sort of ENB could this be? Unusually low depth of field. Very immersive for delving into a dungeon..., or was it another word? Good one, Sniffles!

Thenryb, excellent job with Sniffles' Ritual Stones !!! Now, your's is also hard. Hmmm... Deduction, my dear Watson, deduction..., what have we got? We got two lovely persons there, who don't give us any clue about the location. Scratch them. - the setting is snowy - we have a staircase which could be any staircase of the many staircases in the game - we have a tree, to be more precise, a spruce tree of the type we got ever so often in the game. - BUT..., we have a stone pillar, or something like this. Undeniably Dwemer work, early century of the First Era undoubtly, Markarth granite, typical Reach carvings, carved anticlockwise with a Cidhna-Mine-Hammer and the dwarven stone carver was left handed and had been wearing deerskin gloves, noticeable by the angle of the smooth edges of the carvings. Hmm..., if I now browse the CK section of the archiological library of the Jarl of Markarth, this pillar is recorded as DweClutterColmLarge01 in the old writings. Those pillars are found at several old Dwemer places in Skyrim. This one is a non-snowy specimen located in a snowy area. Shouldn't be hard to find this in the archives. Yes... . There is only one place. I can see it here. This should be at: DeepFolkCrossing And..., my dear Watson..., I have actually been there already. (Smokes his pipe)

Yeah, yeah. But let us know where it actually is. I'm curious because I didn't find it.

If Vilja is following the HeadingTarget she gets a speed boost from time to time to keep up with the player or even run ahead of him. This speed boost is calculated based on the speed of the player. Now that the player has items which increase his speed (and even a walking stick Vilja multiplies her speed and must go off like a rocket sometimes. By the way there is a SkyRe compatibility patch now. But I doubt that it will adress this fact. But I guess if the player boosts his speed by using items then Vilja will be the only companion who will rather keep pace with the player in the default following mode behind the player. But only due to the fact that she is warping.

One could get ideas when one is reading the last posts... Sniffles, that's extremely hard. I see a horrible weather, spruce trees, mountains in the mist, not much snow, a piece of a road. Looks like Skyrim. Could the answer be:... Skyrim? Just like Jet I thought about the place around Fort Amol but there are so many places like this. It's not in the Reach and not around Riften, not Hjaalmarch, not Winterhold and not the Pale. Please, please, please. We need a hint.

Congratulations, Seyheb. You have won a one week wellness stay in this hamlet's grand hotel with extended giant sized beds with extra hay cover and nearly liceless pelts. Eat your giant piece of meat with a pint of mead. Adventure action and dragon attacks included. ' As for Vilja. Well, she usually drops after a while, but she's really great at banshee jumping and survives (thanks to Amgepo) Still racking my brain about your picture..., any small hints?

I'm not so familiar with Morrowind but you can try aa_Kersti Klang as ID. I can't see any ID numbers.

Sorry, I was a bit distracted by gamecrashing statues. Seyheb, I don't have the faintest where this should be, but it looks great. Only, why is Vilja barefooted? A draugr-throne with standing stones around??? Alright, if you insist. Here is also a screenshot from me. Should be easy enough to tell where Vilja is. She took an eagle out of pure convenience. But now the question: Over which picturesque hamlet is she flying at the moment? (The Make-Vilja-Fly-On-An-Eagle-Recipe: Find an eagle's nest. They are hard to reach usually. Take two or three steps backwards from the nest. Wait until the eagle lands on the nest. If the eagle is sitting in the nest summon Vilja. She will now stand on the eagle. Tell her to wait. After a while she will take off together with the eagle.)

I like the picture with the tree. What a beautiful back-ground. But where did Vilja get this pink bunny tail from? Now..., where could the needle be? In the haystack. No, of course it must be in Vilja's hair. That's where the marker is pointing at. And it's because the marker in my picture is also pointing there. Just have a look. Edit: Oh, sorry. Forgot that I should only reveal locations in a spoiler.

Dunno why, but installing version 4.0 cause Vilja and her entourage to head for the Temple of Mara. Leifur, though, went to the Bannered Mare. Before the update, all were at home at Heljarchen Hall. Use the power, Wotan..., well, at least Vilja's Reset Spell and have a friendly fight with her. This should clear her brain.

I know, I know, because I have a great sense of location and I never get lost. It's close to a village, because I can see roofs. Let's see where we are as soon as the weather is getting better. And the Bard's Leap Summit is of course right. I jumped several times..., well, actually my PC did because I wouldn't, and he survived most of the time. Strange, usually one gets bruises and hematoma after such a jump, but here you get a speechcraft boost..., if you survive, that is. Otherwise one is mute.

Alright. My turn. This should be an easy one. It's somewhere high up, really high up and it goes really down, down, down there. No place for the faint hearted.

Very nice idea, this thread. If I'm not completely mistaken this Shrine of Talus must be here: ... overlooking a lovely lake in the middle of the triangle Cradlecrush Rock, Gallows Rock and Mixwater Mill. Very inviting for a swim, indeed. Hint: Talos looking with satisfaction on peaceful waters high above where rushing white and dark waters mix. Sniffle's first picture should be: ...east of Fort Greenwall looking WSW... ... after the Imperials have won the civil war (see the flag on the tower). Formerly the tower was inhabited by bandits.
