Aww! Okay okay, as soon as I peg down this issue with the Escaping Cats, I can get the Vilja patch going. Every time I save my ESP, the Vilja patch ones looses the master data and I have no idea why. Are you opening the patch in the creation kit, with either your or our mod in esp format? The CK does screw master dependencies in those cases. The way to go is to either edit the patch while masters are esmified or do it using Tes5Edit, as Tes5Edit does support esp files as masters.

I indeed tend to have my most used skills as lesser skills. I think most people do that. Sadly, bethesda didn't get things right there, they get people were doing it and in Skyrim, instead of making it unneeded they make it impossible to do. "As the ventilation system in the home we design didn't work correctly, people living there are going outside a lot in order to be able to breath", "problem fixed, the door won't open from the inside, so they won't go outside"

Considering certain fight on certain elevator in fallout 4, I think sniffles is more than capable of going around with a regular spoon

In my opinion, the best spot to have the cat is that cat shack. It's lore friendly and roleplay friendly, reduces the risk of conflicting with other mods, and avoids the player needing to go to different places to get different cats (something that will be extra useful if you assign cats to characters from further mods).

In my opinion, in any TES/Fallout game, the best way to handle level scalling, is reducing both levels/skills/perks and armor/weapon material impact. Unfortunately saying is easy but doing it's really difficult or tedious, depending the path you chose.

Morrowind wasn't a love at first glance case for me. Played few minutes, get killed by a kwama forager and after pondering on the experience so far, shelved the game. Weeks later tried again and everything changed. Not my skills though, I get killed by kwama foragers, slaughterfishes, mudcrabs and whichever unfriendly creature I found for a long time, until I realized there was stamina bar that was always depleted when I started a fight because I was always running. Being able to survive encounters made the game even better

That may take some time, as Emma hasn't logged in for two weeks.

I guess the necklace would be more appropriate. About the color, I think it's Emma who should chose, but in case she didn't post her opinion before you made the patch, the grey one (like Princess Abbie) is the one I find most fitting.

Definitely, I see no problem at all and I think it would be really nice to have a cat following Vilja. One thing though, could you add in that patch a ParentChild relationship between Vilja and her cat? that would make way easier to add an alias to the cat in order to add interactions between the cat and Vilja from our end.

Is that mod available for old Skyrim too or is a Special edition exclusive?

Actually, when I read Dova's post, I was already convinced by yours. Basically, you convinced me, then I get an idea, then read Dova's post which besides adding an idea that goes really well with mine, give me another idea. If this end up working as good as it looks, both of you are to be thanked for

Years ago, I used to transport some of my coworkers home and never charged them for the used oil. One of them, who used to complain a lot about my driving skills, even go ballistic about wanting to pay and I refused even more convinced than before. I could of course just take the money to smooth things. Them, I wouldn't be spending money on fuel, but I would have been driving for free yet and he would feel way more enticed to pester me about my driving skills, my subpar car, how late/early I picked him up, how I didn't control the weather...
1. As said, the interface is a compromise between what we want to do and what the engine will let we do after having fooled it to "think" we are following it's rules.
2. Graphs are useful and I'll take a look at the one you mentioned. Anyway the idea of treating Vilja as a robot has it's cons. If we treat Vilja as a robot, Vilja will behave visibly like a robot, which would defeat the purpose of making this mod at all. Besides, following OOP paradigm is often advisable to soften a bit the "I'm programing robots" point of view.
3. Every feature we added is optimized in order to work in any Skyrim running rig. Of course that is not really possible, considering the huge amount of possible configurations compared to what we can test and because of that, we are 100% sure every single feature will fail in some rigs. So, should we have stopped adding features that failed at the 1000th run or those we weren't sure about, Vilja would have no features at all. We did have some criteria on how smooth and bugfree a feature should be before releasing it of course.
4. probably you forget to paste a suggestion you have typed in the clipboard here. Happens sometimes.
5. Of course we ask users and we did try to add what they ask, but keep in mind the seer amount of users...

You have a point. Here you are: NoLooseWeapons.esp (157 B) Just check the file in the loader or in any other load order handling utility. There shouldn't be any trouble with the load order, you can use BOSS or spare it for this time.

Just creating a new file with Tes4Edit, where you change the IDeathDropWeaponChance to 0 and then activating that file will do the trick.

It won't avoid unreachable corpses inventories not being accessible, but that happens sparely enough to fix with the console. Just type TFC move your flying camera until you see the corpse, select it with the mouse and type: Activate Player Then grave what you need and type TFC again
TFC means Toggle flying camera, which makes it way easier to remember.
