What was unwarranted? Seemed pretty light-hearted to me and hardly worthy of scolding. Not the thread content itself, but the attitude of reply to the suggestion of using spoiler tags.

If you insist. If my efforts in this thread are not desired just say the word and I will cease. This was unwarranted.

There won't be any script problems. Vilja's wardrobes don't commonly cause any script problems, formlist corruptions aren't exactly script problems. So cleaning your game via popular methods don't really affect her wardrobes.
Yes, she will always pick the more expensive of items that has the same armor rating (for both clothes, rating of which would be 0, and armor). I recommend re-visiting the guide (link in my avatar) on her default behaviors and wardrobes (to understand clothes and armor). The system is too intricate to be explained in a small post.

To make sure I understand your question. You have 2 problems? - Vilja isn't always wearing the armor set you want her to wear without mixing other things. - Vilja becomes naked after getting in bed with her nightgown.
She doesn't mix clothes and armor by default, there shouldn't be a need to specifically tell her not to. Can you double check your setting? After you give her the armor sets, make sure they are included with the wardrobes, so you can just tell her to wear armor in the locations they are assigned. During actual fights, her armor will either be the one you assigned in the wardrobe, or the best set in her inventory if you didn't assign armor in her current wardrobe.
After items are assigned to her wardrobe, try not to take them away from her inventory, that makes formlist corruption easy to happen. Reset spell generally has no effect on her wardrobes. I am not too sure about the pj issues, it could be corrupted formlist, mod-compatibility (if you have mods that change beds, sleeping behavior, npcs clothing in general, sleep tight is probably the culprit).

Nothing was going to happen, just wait at the inn until Vilja says she is tired again, and tell her we should leave. This will end her "date" conversations. Just like Collin said.

Sorry about that. I sort of got tunnel vision. It's because all fixing up and foofing the computer is really all about Skyrim for me. The only time I need the computer in major performance mode. No apologies needed. Just remember to inform about risks too.

I don't see any obvious mod incompatibility. Make sure you exclude Vilja from Dual Sheath Redux and Perkus Maximus patches.
Does Vilja have the reading animation if you ask her to read a book?

Bonjour I don't think there's many native French speakers here. Do other bards have animation when they play music? Is FNIS and its mods all up to date? You can post your mod list and we may be able to take a look, and the spoiler tag is: [spoiler ]text[/spoi ler]

So I remember I found some things called Strawberry Planters back in a dark icy necromancer cave when we were looking for Vilja's dowry. But after the wedding I can't find those in her nor my inventory. What is the use of those things? Could I plant them in the garden of my Lakeview Manor? Hello, since you are asking a question unrelated to the original thread, you are more than welcome to start your own thread (in fact, that's preferred).
Strawberry planters are misc items for Vilja to "grow" strawberry in her Mary Poppins bag and give you strawberry pie when you ask for food after you are married to her. There are no actual planting involved, and you can't do anything with the planters.

Johnstar, if you are worried about mods compatibility, we can take a look at your mod list. Adding Dragonborn, its patch, and Vilja's addon shouldn't cause any trouble. (and no, Vilja in Solstheim doesn't include her family home.) If your game is otherwise not lagging, then Vilja's delay in playing the music maybe due to AI alias or package preoccupation. If you ask Vilja to read you a book, can she do so right away? If not, you can try have a few friendly fight with her to clear up her AI queue. Never uncheck any master esm, they will cause CTD immediately during Bethesda logo.

I would think your first idea with mklink using junctional link would be the best here to redirect folder path midway, library path changes don't really do much after the registry is set.
Here's the command for elevated command prompt mklink /j C:\(your old path) D:\Documents

Ken, I don't have access to Skyrim/CK, so I don't have the codes for you. But here's what you can do: 1 - open console, type SQT this will show you your list of active quests and their targets, use pageup and pagedown on your keyboard to scroll the console, find Vilja's misc quest. I can't recall the quest name at the moment, it's likely begin with AAEM. Or you can post a screenshot, and we will verify its ID for you. 2 - take note of the quest target by this command prid (insert the id console gave you) 3 - transfer their inventory to you by removeallitems player This will work if the target has not been cleared by the game. If not, I am sure someone can look up the quest stages for you to advance it by console.
