Didn't seem to be avaliable for Oldrim. I have seen nothing like that for "Oldrim".

Seems like a lot of bugs still. Doubling down on patience as to not DL it and be cranky. I am not playing the Special Edition version, but it seems like most of the actual bugs in the Legendary version have been solved. I have played it through about three times and that will be it for me. It is a remarkable achievement by the group but I found most of the content pretty dull. There is one quest which I would call a "main quest" and the others are either fetch quests or quests which are likely introductory to future content which I will likely not ever see unless I start playing Special Edition. I might find it more generally appealing if I felt nostalgic about Oblivion, which I do not.

Maybe I should wait until someone releases a reduced textures patch. For what is is worth I ran it through the texures optimizer tool before I installed it and it made no changes whatever (if that is what you mean by "reduced textures".) The issue is probably more what Narramore said.

I get this mod is a huge download and has yet some big bugs to iron out, but what about it's performance friendliness? Does it cost much FPS? and specially to thenryb, besides frequent CTDs, does you game stutter when in Bruma? Well, I have a really weak computer which never gets more than 60fps and usually is running about 30. When I added this mod I did not get that much decrease in frame rate, but I did get some stutter and when I got to Bruma I would have CTDs when going in an out of buildings like Castle Bruma. They were instant and due likely to just running out of memory. I then installed Enboost, and that allowed me to avoid those instant crashes. The game does not run as smoothly in Bruma as it does in Skyrim. I still experience stutter in Bruma but it is not disabling.

BS:B has now reved to version 1.2 with lots of fixes. This is not the last update, so if you want the least hassle wait awhile longer. There are still issues relating to things like quests remaining in log and showing as incomplete after all objectives have been completed. I was glad to see that the endless thread of players bickering about Classic vs SSE was apparently deleted. Your description of that thread as "ugly" was spot on.

The current sticky on the mod talks about those CTD's they result from.... Corrupt navmeshes wrong world encounter setup and a corrupted Goblin Skin They are working on the problems. In the mean time avoid the discussion thread for the mod unless you really want to get sucked into a nasty debate over SSE vs. Legendary. Yes, I saw that sticky and have seen that discussion thread. My computer cannot run SSE, so I would not be a participant in such a debate. I am only able to run this mod by using a combination of crashfixes and its preloader along with enboost. When I was just using the Sheeson memory patch which comes with SKSE along with Safety Load, I was getting CTDs whenever I entered or exited a cell (such as Castle Bruma) or when I talked to the Captain in the Castle about the artifacts quest.

Been trying to run it on my tired old computer. Very extensive and impressive work. I have only done a few quests in and around Bruma. There are some areas east of Bruma toward Azura's shrine which will produce instant CTD's even for players with decent rigs. I am sure that will be ironed out shortly.

I have a number of those mods which modify global game settings variables such as the one linked by Koth. They are to suppress the inane repetitive babble of NPCs when you get anywhere near them. All seem to work by changing the distance the player is from the NPC before he or she feels compelled to relate their life story. (no more comments from Nazeem, or "the old woman") None of the companion mods I have used seem to have any impact on those global game settings and the mods do not seem to even contain that "Gameplay" category, which is understandable. Although I can see in TES5 edit what those mods changed I do not know how they are made. I am trying the dialogue padding mod. It appears to speed up the dialogue of NPCs you talk to or dialogue between NPCs such as Serana's insufferable dialogue with her mother in the Soul Cairn ("I just want us to be a happy family again..."). I am curious whether that mod will speed up the dialogue of Old Mora, Dagon or Arngier (a mod which allows you to tab through that kind of dialogue would be great).

I should have known better than to comment on this mod when I had not played that much of it. I have now finished it and it just kept getting better. There were still the bugs referenced in valindril's excellent post, but it is an impressive work and underappreciated imo. I was also a bit uncomfortable with the romance dialogue. My goofy character is already a bigamist (Mrissi, Sofia, and Serana), so I chose the kid sister route with Rigmor. I thought he did a great job in making those options available. Like all mods and the game itself, many of the dialogue choices available to the player make me cringe. I hope the author will resist cries for versions which beautify or sexualize Rigmor. Her "Maid of Orlean" look is perfect as it is.

I just started playing it. Obviously a lot of work and talent as well as knowledge of TES lore went into this mod, but I do not think it is as good as, eg Helgen Reborn. It has so many quest stages for each quest, including objectives like "talk to Rigmor" or anyone who half the time has nothing to say requiring you to go through that "be yourself" routine or reload an earlier save. There appear to be a lot of finicky triggers to advance quest stages, especially those which trigger some quest npc to speak. I could also do without 15 minute speeches describing battles (that windbag Imperial who is a pain to get to talk and then will not shut up). The combat is somewhat hard on my old computer, but mainly it seeks to increase the difficulty mainly by spawning more foes. Fighting a million tainted spiders and skeevers is not my idea of fun. Rigmor is well-voiced but in terms of dialogue with the player character has almost nothing to say. As to conflicting with Vilja, I do not see one, other than a marriage one if someone wants to marry Rigmor. There are custom companions you can marry and still have a vanilla skyrim marriage (Mrissi, Sophia)-not so with Vilja. She has a good sniffer for that marriage flag.

Unfortunately, the less furry texture option, either Classic or SE, is only available for UNP bodies, so my Fluffy will stay furry.

That Mrissi is not very furry:) Like my kitty that way~~ Well, I would too. I am using the newest Classic version of the mod and use CBBE body. No clue how to get my kitty hairless. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Obviously, you got it done.

Huh? Mrissi is not on the May voting list and finished second in April to some Bikini mod. (Assuming you are referring to Nexus file of the month stuff) That was Classic Skyrim. It is up for first place in May on SSE. Facepalm for me:) I hope it wins.
