Here is a mod which stifles comments of NPCs about the players nakedness. It is one I use along with a number of other mods suppressing banal and repetitive comments: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13050/?

I've long used "Puny Goblins", which makes them much weaker; the shamans are still dangerous, but just as easy to kill. In a cave it's fun to hit one then step back and watch Vilja go on a hack-and-slash spree through the rest. I read about OOO and Francesco's mod, but they are classic examples of "kitchen sink" mods - they do too much, and not all of it interests me. Not familiar with Maskar's mod, so off to read some more. Thanks. There is a lot in Maskar's mod which will not interest you as well but you can just disable it in the ini file which comes with the mod.

I have been rather happy with Maskar's overhaul mod. I disable many of its available features mostly because they sound more like drudgery than fun, but at least I have been able to assign as major skills those which I actually use without dealing with bandits with glass armor at level 22 and overpowered goblins (of which Oblivion has too many)which are boring and drop nothing useful. In the past, I have used OOO and Francesco's separately and as part of FCOM, but eventually abandoned all of those. I have read that Maskar's can be used along side them without difficulty.

Did you, at any time, save your game while mounted?

Must be a critter added by some mod.

I was trying to see whether there was any new content or just graphics and performance improvements. I would be surprised if there was new content. Oh well, my computer could not run it anyway.

I have been using The Choice is Yours mod for a long time which prevents many quests you do not want from showing up in your quest log just because you ask some innkeeper about a rumor. This looks like it would be compatible with that and perhaps even a replacement for that mod.

Been given a copy of FNV. Of a mind to play it and what advice do I from you guys and gals? \Mods re animations, Skse, UI, NPS, Weapons environments etc in faxct everything all for a good game. graphics and ram, space no problem. thank you all. Not giving Skyrim up. still playing in there.Following three maids with my mop and blood bucket. Besides Willow, you may want to consider the New Vegas Bounties mods which are very well done. If you play with them, avoid Nevada Skies or the Open Freeside mods, which screw up the Bounties mods. (I do not see the appeal of weather mods anyway).

I have never had issues with Willow stealing kills. Her rifle is a heavily nerfed version of the brush gun and weaker than a vanilla cowboy repeater.

I never saw one until I (finally) installed Dawnguard. In any event, they are too slow and too loud for my play style.

Well, I have done that quest many times and have always found that elf in the Gottshaw Inn. Sometimes he is right there in plain sight and other times he is in one of the rooms and you have to ask the Innkeeper about him.

I have never seen such an extensive analysis of this quest. I have never done anything but help her, because, as Rylys says, she is a lady in distress and I am a gentleman. Plus, I find the forced interruption of me by the hunters right after I have killed my first dragon to be Bethesda-annoying in the first degree.

That feature of Vilja complaining about the player not wearing the armor was, thankfully, removed in the Skyrim version.

Sniffles , please do not write about your problems with someone else's post. It's not helpful. Dova, her problem may have helped because of a similar problem. Its all learned experience. Surely I could have judged that myself. And the rest of us could as well. Sorry that Sniffles got scolded for posting and that she felt obliged to delete that post. None of us seem to be real "experts" and can only give advice based upon our personal experiences. We may be able to describe what fixed a given problem for us without really knowing why it worked.

This just came out. Apparently cut from the original game. Restores a few NPCs and dialogue that was cut. Needed a path grid. You might want to wait until he fixes it. www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47118/?Frankly, I would love to see a mod which shut NPCs up like one Cispus did for Skyrim.
