If you go to Cheidinhal and hit a woman with green hair named Heneri (find in the inns and in the streets) with Vilja startcombat spell, you will have the option to answer some questions, to determine how far you have gone in Vilja's quest.
There is a mod adding a pet shop, which could break day count, a feature Vilja's quest updates depend on. Not sure if this could make the quest start again, as I hadn't try that mod, but as I heard Vilja won't find more ingredients while the pet shop is checked.

She will have a way better navigation skills if she start leading from a road. Besides, she'll have greater problems leading in areas with many obstacles or badly pathgrided (from mods).

Tough decision, I would preffer levitation but unicorns are way cheapper . Not if you make the potions yourself. I miss levitation. I used to levitate so often in Morrowind. I'd even do it in caves, underground, just swooping through the chambers, darting away from monsters then dropping down and wacking them. Ahh, those were the days. I was speaking about the response of Tod Howard in the last interview, about unicons and levitation bein in Skyrim. He said (obviously jocking) that unicorns will be a DCL for 100 $ and levitation another one for 300 $. It could be understand as there won't be unicons and no levitation or as 'no comments'.

If you go to Cheidinhal, you will found a green haired woman named Heneri. Hit her with Vilja startcombat spell. Now you will be able to answer some questions, that let the game know at what point of her quest you were. Not sure if this includes disposition, but you can use the console for this (select her and type: moddisposition player number , where the number is the amount of points to be added to her disposition).

In her dialog options, under the "can we speak a little?" Paragraph there is an option: "can you stop talking?", That makes her stop talking. Maybe you have chosen that. Selecting the "can we speak a little?" option again, you will find a new option: "why are you so quiet?", that will make her speak again. Besides, if you ask her about her skills and then click on the book on top of the menu, you will be able to change how much she talks between other features.
Anyway, in very rare occasions, she will stop talking after fighting when she was leading. While this is fixed by itself when changing cells, maybe you had found a worst case of her stopping her chatting.
If this is the case, you can target her with 'vilja startcombat spell', which usually makes her attack the actor receiving the spell, but in this case resets her.
If this didn’t work either, you can leave her in a cell without enemies, going yourself to another nonadjacent cell and wait more than 72 game hours.
Alternatively, you could take all her equipment, select her with the console and type resurrect. Then give her back her equipment.

Skyrim could have higher requirements than Oblivion. On the other hand, Oblivion didn't use properly modern computers technology and Skyrim will be multiplatformed (consoles haven't been upgraded since 2006 if I'm not mistaken). So, it's a bit early to think that your computer won't be able to handle it. jac wrote: I wonder if this is why Bethesda switched to the new engine? To get more gfx out of the same hardware? Encouraging, if so. Surelly this is one of the reasons to make the new engine. And surelly another reason is to have a tool expreselly created to make TES games.

Try the resurrect command on all your companions and horses (remember that their equip will be reseted, so, take from them any item they didn't start with, before resurrecting them). This should eliminate any token.
Though this didn't seem the case, companions with wigs, helmets or other head equipment, may cause crash when fast travelling.

Could be caused by something adding a token to her. take all the objects you have given to her, put on the console, select her and type resurrect. This will reset her inventory, deleting any token.
If this didn't help, try crossing that door without Vilja in tow. If the crash happens anyway, it has nothing to do with Vilja. Try unchecking mods until you find the cause.
Well, I assume you are having crashes every time you try to cross that door.

Looks great, although I feel sorry for the poor chap who couldn't afford a real helmet but had to run around with some leftover from when the butcher last slaughtered a cow. (silly horned helmets, grumble, grumble, grrrrr....) Exotic? Well, the running-in-the-woods-in-the-snow-sequense is basically what I have when I go for a walk at this time of the year, if you exclude the dragon-part of it, that is. Well, some civilizations had have actual horned helmets (if I'm not mistaken the helmets that where found in a viking ship, creating this 'vikings has horned helms' thing where etruscans). Anyway that helm is uuuuugly. by the way, Cool avatar Helvorix!

Here the console could help you greatly. you could use CloseCurrentOblivionGate function. If this didn't work (should do, but taking the sigil stone should have work also after all), type coc cellname to go out of the Oblivion gate and when you see the gate again, selet it on the console and type CloseOblivionGate. EDIT: Well, about being a bug or a feature, I had never actually seen an Oblivion gate besides Kvatch one, so, no idea.

You should upload more screenshots. Different angles, equipment and scenarios. People tend to rely more in the images than in the descriptions. I think the amount of downloads is good, but could be better considering the quality of your work.
