Activate player. I need to remember that. However, one of the reasons I'm playing with all those companions is the challenge of working with them. I loathe using TCL except in absolutely desperate situations. If you think about it, going into an area with that crowd and getting trapped and having to use the console to get bailed out is pretty stupid. But of interest, perhaps you can clue me here. Something about Sindra I don't understand. I've been able to push through or dodge all the other companions but Sindra is a major roadblock. She has caused more getting stuck situations in the week she has been along than all the stucks experienced from the other 8 in over 2 months of playing. Any idea why this is? No pushing past or dodging her while others can be passed in the same situation. The problem is, Sindra is mandatory. Some of the most cherished Vilja moments for me are her interactions with Sindra. PS I suspect Vilja is the same roadblock wise but she is always following close to the PC and can be led out into a more open area. But if Sindra is up against the exit with a couple of others, it's TCL time. Gave Sindra the PCs Savior's Hide. Looks so good on her! Not too thrilled about the dog on her head, though.

For future reference, this residence has two small drawbacks if you have 9 follower - companions. I think the term explosive compression describes the first little problem. Without the second door you are risking reloading a saved game as you may never be able to get near a door again. The second little bit of trouble is it is impossible to get out of range of any of the companion conversations. Using the subtitles just makes things worse as it appears Sindra is complaining about Lolths policies while vamping you, Sophia wants a mudcrab dinner or Aela appears to be purring. Saving games while inside under those circumstances is ill advised. The game also seems to take exception to loading a save while a half dozen or more dialogue scripts are going off.

Yups. Need more info. If this is the crucial decision I think it is, reload an earlier game. The entire rest of Vilja's quest lines depend on this.

Willow's big annoyance for me is she's a perfect shot with that rifle. She can steal every one of your targets. But she is definitely an excellent companion, and has a touch of Inigo-esque in her comments.

bitchy prima donna. That sums her up. A personality akin to masturbating with a cheese grater. Mildly amusing but mostly painful.
Am checking out Celestene right now. Cerwiden has never started her quest line after about 80 hours of game play. Thus she's a mildly helpful spell caster and an ongoing religion advertisement. Could you please explain STEP1 and STEP2?

The hapless Dragonbabe has gone ahead a little ways from the group to enjoy a little peace and quiet. Since Sindra has joined the party the ongoing chatter is non stop constant. The poor misunderstood dragon slaughterer is almost never able to come up to speed with any one persons chat without someone else getting a part of a comment in.
So there they all were, a beautiful golden dawn beyond the high walls of Whiterun and the looming rooftree of Dragonsreach in the distance, she pauses to take a picture as Inigo and Vilja come up behind her and she hears, "Who do you think would win, a dragon or 1000 angry chickens it makes my bosom look enormous." And Vilja is suddenly up in her face. "What are you grinning about?"

Combine 1 PC, 8 followers, 1 dragon, 1 Eryniel, and 1 or more Eryniel summoned relatives. Sit there marveling to yourself in flabbergasted amazement each such encounter where the game didn't crash. Add Cerwiden casting party defensive spells if you want to be completely dumbfounded.

Yes, they are all there, courtesy of steam Anyway, I developed a Steam problem so had uninstall Steam and am going through the process of slowly Manually installing mods again. Life is such fun! thanks for the ask. Did you see in my 'Curse of Camelot' mod ? post in General 'A Good Horse' 2nd mod I installed to get the horse again. If you want a horse. Horses? Where? You can't be talking about those robotic galumph things. A. Draggingbone DLC sometimes screwz up the soul sucking from a dragon (even after that hunk of sludge is completed). B. The Deadly Dragons mod addresses and adjusts that issue in a round about way. Isn't 'Steam problem' just a little redundant? from what I have read you have bugs, glitches, crashes, and Steams. The difference is Steams are terminal. Game reload mandatory.

Just killed twice, Mirmulnir outside the west tower but no transfer of power, just looted, waited 5 minutes nothing happens. How can I move to next phase? thank you. Further to above tried now various ways from earlier saves, Getting the bottle, seeing the Jarl,, getting the dragonstone, then down to the dragon. wore fur armour, crappy sword, made no difference. I noticed it's twitching when I get to it on the ground its mouth was working for a while opening/ closing. looted still zilch. Is there any way I can move on? Do you have Dragonborn installed?

My solution to same problem. 1. Use Vilja reset spell on self. Get in friendly fight with vIlja and lose. Reload saved game. 2, Open launcher, Untick Eryniel. She can cause all sorts of problems. That is the reason I chose to not have her along on this multi follower playthrough. Right out of the box, door problems (Transition cells) and game crashes.

Sindra? SINDRA! Do I have enough armor and weapon goodies for her? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Don't forget Tindra will need armour and weapons eventually (assuming you manage to keep the game from exploding till you can recruit her too) And my head. The equipment situation is and incredible mess right now. 1. Remove all items on PC. Place in special container. 2. Put on the proper smithing equipment. 3. Create acceptable weapons and armor that works best for each NPC that they will wear, that looks good! 4. Collect all presently worn equipment from NPCs 5. Have all 9 NPCs wait. 6. Waddle downstairs. 7. Stand in front of Weapon table. 8. Save game. 9. Drink two potions then SUPER QUICK smith all weapons. 10. Check to see that all were done before potions wore off. 11. Reload 8 and try again. 12. Re reload. Try once more. 13. Wait until miss lightning fingers comes home from school. Get her to reload and do it. 14. Go to armor bench. 15. Drink two potions. 16. OOPS. Revert to 8. Forgot to save. 17. EVERYTHING DONE??? Everything? 18. Waddle back upstairs. 19. Find all the NPCs. 20. Equip each NPC. Expect some abysmal aesthetic horrors. 21. Check Armor rating of each PC. 22. PC crashed. Revert to 8. ... 46. Start screaming and let Princess take over and play FO3. And ultimately, done. Why is Sophia next to naked? Why does Vilja have my boots? Where are the other boots? SHUT UP, DOG! Why won't Viconia wield that weapon? Where did all of Arissa's equipment go? DAMMIT, SHUT UP MUTT!! What happened to Inigo's new Ebony armor? No I do not want to play a game. Why is M'rissi now wearing a dress? NO! I do not want to hunt mid crabs. AWWWWW SNIT! It didn't get done before the potions wore off. AHHHHG!!!

The Karita curse.I think it took us a half dozen reloads to get out of the Windpeak Inn and to the altar unscathed.

I managed to get the computer out of the hands of my princess for a few minutes to take a stroll through Skyrim and have some quiet reflection. Most recently I did a stint at blacksmithing but had yet to try out my endeavors. I'm terribly disorganized. I relieved everyone of the armor and weapons and did some smithing in the usual mad dash style before the potions wore off. Then getting everyone reequipped!! What a nightmare. I handed out clothing and armor as to what would look good and the weapons as what I recalled were someones preference. Not good. Not good at all. Grumpy bitchy followers. Aela flatly refused to wear her original Ancient Nord mail. So she got Vilja's outfit and it went downhill from there. Then when things were looking good I assessed the armor rating and switched everything around. It finally got sorted, and was quite ironic in a few ways. The target was everyone over 1000 armor rating. I got there, with Sophia adding her quirks to the works. The highest armor rating at 1400 yet only wearing a bra and nothing down below. WTF??? Sigh. I'm bored. Let's go for a stroll, people. A lovely early spring morning. Patches of snow on the northern slopes. Flowers and butterflies abound. We were traveling from Lakeview to Riften to do a bard performance. Somebody comes running up behind us yelling for help, a pair or trolls closing in fast. Inigo does a fancy pirouette and it's one troll. I retrieved 5 arrows out of the other. Gee people, getting a little serious? Then down comes our morning dragon. I felt sorry for it, letting the others have their fun. It was coordinated and quite brutal. To one side of it's head was Vilja, the other side, Inigo, both with honed Daedric swords. Vilja's summoned firegirl was toasting it's nose with fireball after fireball. Meanwhile all the rest were fading to the sides, firing arrows. Maybe a 5 second fight and an ancient dragon skeleton was littering the pass. Feeling a little feisty today, folks? The stroll down from the pass into the rift was delightful. 3 weeks away from Skyrim I had almost forgotten how beautiful it is. I started paying more attention to the followers. I relized Skyrim for me now would be barren and empty without them. I had grown accustomed to the chatter, the banter, and their efforts and antics. Vilja, always right behind the Dragonborn, musing and commenting. A homey down to earth person speaking of mundane things so far removed from dragons and the dire war going on. A rock, an anchor in the storm. Calm, gentle, yet spirited. Inigo. You called yourself brave but have proven this to be true. As much a part of my game as Vilja. Stalwart and fierce one moment, making some off the wall comment the next. You move around in the group. Sometimes chatting with Vilja, sometimes at the back. Rarely negative, and always first into just about any fight. Your comments have become an intrinsic part of Skyrim for me. Viconia and Aela. You two walk side by side now. The dark and dour duet. Both equally slow getting into a fight but an enemy always has a dragonbone arrow from Aela in it while Viconia becomes the third blade in the Vilja Inigo Cuisineart. Viconia has become more gentle, more friendly. He acid comments have gone. Perhaps some day you will quit comparing everything to the underdark. You and Aela are far to serious. Maybe you will learn from each other to relax a little. Cerwiden. You're weird. You attract assassins like flies yet give us no clue as to why. I appreciate you stay way back, and appreciate the assists. I'm sure your magics are helping us all. Maybe someday you will enlighten us. Arissa. Shallow. Is there anything on your mind besides me me me and thievery? But you are a help and you mow through iron arrows at an alarming rate. M'rissi, you're charming. A little backwards and unpredictable, and you occasionally say some of the oddest things. Your growling at dragons is priceless. You are the most upbeat and amiable of the group, taking things in stride. When told to wait you are happy to do so and find ways to go off and keep yourself busy without complaint. Sophia, you slut. Thanks for staying at the back of the line. I'm much less tempted to accidentally miss with a few arrows. We arrived in Riften at sundown. It started raining as we entered the gate. Making our way to the bee and barb it was a very full house. Everyone relaxed in their own way and we had enjoyable musical performances. During a break I had Sophia sing which was very nice. Her own take on the lyrics is a lot of fun and she has a lovely voice. Inigo went and sat with that Blackbriar woman who instantly got up and found another table. I'd swear I saw him smiling to himself. Vilja struck up a conversation with the bar maid. Aela joined Inigo for a drink. Arissa did a wallflower. M'rissi snuck upstairs and sacked out in someones bed. And Vilja had some things to say. A little insecure, concerned about her relationship with the Dragonborn and worried about events past and future. Vilja, you really need to take a step back and give yourself a good look over. This is not the person to be shy and insecure. By the way, when did I give you my boots??
